Those of you voting for Duraflex, you realize you'll have ot paint it right?!?!?!?
It'll end up costing more in the long run than the CF one.... I just dunno if you're not thinking or don't care.

Just an FYI,
I have a carbon fiber trunk lid on my mom's malibu... we had it painted to match the car... it started bubbling after about year three... went to a reputable body shop too... I was told carbon fiber doesnt paint well (guy coulda been a shitty painter for all I know)... and I know my sister would want it painted to match the car if she were to get one...
I imagine if the painter has done carbon fiber before... as I know most racecars are painted and carbon fiber and don't bubble... they might beable to get it good... just an fyi and and some info as local bodyshops usually don't deal with the stuff...

It was a local stealership... ase certified bulls*** place... so I wasent surprised when I seen the bubbles last year...
Acually, it was the same place that fixed the cobalt after the deer accident... and they screwed up the paint on the bumper... and missed a spot under the hood and quarter panel so nvm they suck...

So you can just paint it and you have the materials/know how to do it...99% of Cobalt owners do not.

Will there be an option to buy it painted? Will it have the 3rd brakelike similar to the stock trunk?
