I did this today as well, I love it. I did notice the keyhole is more noticable...I have a few plans for it though

One reason why I don't like (or get) debadging. The key hole is the only thing left and draws even more attention to it. Chevy should have been smart and made the bowtie badge flip up and have the keyhole behind it.

 

if that is the only reason, do it yourself then spend some money to get it filled in and painted. You can do the bodywork yourself and take it to get painted at a shop.

You're missing the point. You have to debadge it so the ferrari badge will fit. Then get those lambo doors off of ebay for $300. Now that will confuse the hell out of your neighbors.

here's my shorty antenna. picked it up off of ebay for 15 bucks (inc shipping) from antennaX.





i like it a lot.

 

I got the same antenna Iso, the ball at the top came off and exposed bare wire. Cut it with wirecutters tho so you can't notice it. lol Didn't affect reception thankfully.

 

Damn, I got one coming from antennax too , should be here in the next few days.

 

i was actually thinking about cutting that ball on the top off, how does it look compared to with it?

Looks real good I think. I couldn't remember what the ball looked like until your picture, it fell off less than a week after I had the antenna. Maybe I drove too fast.
