I wired this
into a brown wire in the interior fuse panel, which is linked to the light sensor in the dash. This way they only come on when the headlights come on at night. Those were a bitch though and I had to run them individually. As in I couldn't hook the negative of one to the positive of another. They just wouldn't glow at all that way. So I had to ditch them when I got my sound system. Too much power loss.
My wideband I have spliced into the passenger airbag on/off light. This way it only comes on when the key is in the "run" position.

Believe it or not I had to grind some of the trim away so the light would shine. I wish I could wire them in series so I didn't use so much power but they are literally not visible even with only two wired in series.
Figured I could use the LEDs for something else and scrapped them though.
