^^ Nice to see them taking care of you like that.

The only thing I don't like about those headlights is the little LEDs along the top. If those weren't there I'd consider them.

They say not to put HID's in there because the light out would be horrible with that halogen projector . There covering their a$$ , so someone cant complain to them about how horrible the light output is if a HID bulb was used . Becasue FYI to another comment in here , HALO and other HID retrofit companies make bulbs that directly fit in this housing .

Sorry to hear bout the headlight problem . Its cool their covering it , but a pita none the less .

yea mine started kinda smoking on my focus, i found that most ebay projectors come with high watt bulbs, either that or shitty ones. mine were both high watt and shitty, the little cap/cover on top lof the bulb started peeling off.so i switched them out immediately for some other bulbs of 55 watts, they dont overheat or melt or anything anmore. go out to your car and leave your lights on for a few minutes and put your hand on the headlight..see if its hot.

AH man, i'm really trying hard to get those dual halo projectors!

but the cons i'm hearing are making me want to cry.
Do you think it's still worth getting?

i shipped mine out 2 days ago so i should have replacement in a few days and yes the bulbs that are in there are very hot so should i switch them to silverstars or something like that sicne i dont wanna spend alot of money on headlights right now, i know piaa are the best but those can go in later. i dont even know the headlight code for the projectors and it looks like a pain to change them out

yes I did it
the reason they say no to HID's is the bulbs dont fit the narrow opening, I had to modify mine to get them to fit.

No melting here that I can see

Aiming them is a chore, but you only do it one time

Ask the seller why they don't recommend the use of HIDs in these projectors. HIDs give off less heat than standard halogen bulbs.

Aftermarket headlights that only cost 300 dollars aren't going to last. Why do you think when you order STOCK headlights from the dealer, they are about 3-400 a piece?

There isn't even a company associated with those projectors. Thats why everyone calls them Ebay projectors.

my projectors required me to use my stock wiring harness and bulbs. they fit fine. lighting is just as good or better than stock
