I don't think there is one. You have to make sure they are horizontally correct when you install them in the housing.

Well, I assume they are then because they were preinstalled from buyhids. I guess I will just use the vertical adjustment to get them to match as much as possible. Sucks that right after I get these they start carrying the morimotos!

Mike, I somehow got moisture in the HID projector headlights you built me last year. Im not sure how it happened. It was fine when I left for a week and now there is moisture in it when I came back. My question is this. Is it safe to throw the head light in the oven at 200*F for 10 mins and pry the lens off to get moisture out with the projector in there? I noticed you used what looks like bathroom caulk or glue stick gun to re seal them. Just let me know what the best way to take care of this is. Thanks.

RTV Adhesive silcone. And yes THey can be baked in the oven for extra crispyness!

Haha alright thanks. Im guessing when I took my headlights out during the intercooler conversion some of the adhesive got caught and tore on the fender or bumper of something. Im pretty sure I would have seen this though :/

After all I washed the car right after and took it to the BYT meet. got quite a few nice compliments about them

Mine have been doing this but only seems to do it when it's cold outside. When it's cold out, the heat from the projectors have no where to go so it causes moisture on the inside of the headlight. When it's warm out, they don't fog.

Any suggestions? Wierd ****.

If your headlights are showing the kind of moisture mine is... then you have a gap somewhere and moist air is getting in. I just need to find out what I did to the headlight during the IC conversion.

My other headlight is not doing that.

May be from the back where the bulb is mounted. But yes thats the stuff but i buy it in a BIG containter

A tiny hole on the buttom of the headlight may relieve that issue. Not 100% tho

In the bottom of the lense? Just one hole and how big? I may try this if my theory proves to be correct.

this could happen when you take your headlights off due to the HOLES in the back where the bulbs go lol, take your headlights out an use a blow dryer or just let tem air dry no need to take the lens off to dry um out

if u do the blow driver thing sumtyms it causes water spots though i tried it lol so now on my old lights that is i had a fog look to my lights but there were mint

I was told to use compressor air to dry them out. Mine are fogged up quite a bit tonight. Mike, what would you charge to take them apart and reseal them if I paid for shipping. I don't have time to deal with them honestly.

Don't drill holes in the headlight. That will just allow moisture in where it can condense and form water droplets. The water droplets will not be able to exit due to the retention strength of the droplet.

Best method is to take the lense off and clean it. Followed by a new seal. This weekend I will examine it.

You guys need a new how-to on the morimotos you carry now. The wiring is totally different from the old ones you guys had. This kit now comes with a bracket and wiring I havent seen before. Need help ASAP on this install.

I still cant figure out why everyone messes with silicone all the time, taking the xtra hour to scrap out all the factory perma seal type stuff when it works 100000x better to just reheat the factory glue and hold the light together, the reason that is better is because it re seals instantly, rather than holding the lights together for 30 minutes with clamps or worse bare hugging them (i did that) when using silicone.

I also keep some silicone to fill tiny gaps but my last 3 retros all used reheated factory glue with no leaks.

You have a bad connection some where. Also make sure your plugs are on the correct ballast. I belive orange black goes to ballast and blue/black is the high beam shutter.
