Dragstrip and track days!!!

My buddy at Don Howson Chev is a racing freak and he is arranging a dragstrip and a track day. The dragstrip is in London and it will be next Sunday (July 31st) and I believe he told me it was $20 for as many runs as you can fit in from 8-5. The track day is at Shannonville (big track) and is on Friday, August 19th and that is $150 all day(if you show up with us) with 4 instructors there to teach you how to drive your car to it's limits. The BMW and Porsche club will also be there that day. If you're interested contact me or ask me for more details on Sunday at the meet

If it's Shannonville, here are the details:

Shannonville Motorsport Park

Shannonville is one of the world's most versatile and safest motorsport parks. It's unique design offers advantages to the public and industry that cannot be found anywhere else. Use of the facility by professional race teams, car & motorcycle racing schools, clubs, high performance car & motorcycle street-oriented schools, industry & media for vehicle testing, T.V. programs & commercial production, keeps the park busy every day of the week

Directions to the park:

From Toronto: Hwy 401 east approx. 150km (90miles) east to Exit #556 - Shannonville Rd. Proceed south on Shannonville Rd, which ends at Old Hwy #2. Go east on Old Hwy #2, we are approx 7 kms from this point on the left hand side.

See you Sunday Sean

I thought the closest one to London was in St. Thomas...maybe I should go for a drive some night and see if I can find it...I'd assume it's in the southern end since the north is more residential. That meaning I have to drive all the way across town...darn .

Well the dragstrip is actually Sparta as I've been told and the track is Shannonville. At Shannonville we get to run the PRO track!!! You guys should come out and watch me rip an 05' Stang GT lol (my buddies first stick car). At Shannonville, to watch my buddy in his 2K Camaro eat BMW's, Porsche's and just about anything else in the corners is worth yhe price alone. It'll be two fun days so come out and drive your car the way it was meant to be driven dammit
