at a meet around the beginning of April, in Toronto?
Now that my car is in Toronto I have managed to arrange to have it 100% completed, out there. After JBP finishes what they are doing, it goes over to Desired Custom, so Keith Losier can work his magic on the inside so it doesn't look like a race car. Keith will also do a paint job for me, with a custom graphic. I know this is still a ways away but I just figured if there was enough interest I would fly out to show the car. This will likely be the only time it will be seen out there simply because of my not wanting to tow it 5,000kms each way.
If this happens we can figure out a place in Toronto, closer to the time of the event. There will be about 2-3 weeks notice before the car is done. Also there may be some American members willing to drive there, so this gives them time to plan too.

 

im down...but hey..i can just drive 10 mins and peek in the window at JBP...

You are so cruel I tried talking Mev into moving to Vancouver but it didn't work.

I would like to see it too, but I'm no where near you guys . I'll just have to see it in pics, be sure to take lots of them.

 

Mev (JBP) will be doing the tuning first in his shop and then when it is ready for the Dyno he has a couple close by to choose from. It is possible Mev will use TAG's dyno for the final tuning.

 

TAg has wicked tuning cabailites, they fixed all the issues with my car and hooked me with an amazing tune, if it goes to tag ill be there for the dyno!!

If it's the summer time, I will have shed many tears waiting. I am hoping the beginning of April. Having said that a deadline or 20 have already passed me by.

Come on Mike,be nice, it's not like they can just drive over after work to see it. Look at it this way, I will get a chance to drive it sooner.

 

And when your driving through Manitoba on your way home I may come out and see it if you park it in front of my house as long at PINKS is not on, OK.

With enough notice, I would definately attend. I will just shedule a trip home to visit friends/family in Ottawa, and would swing by T.O. for the meet. I know if I am exciting for this projet to finally finish, I can't imagine how you must feel. Good luck in the final steps of your project Rod!

Okay guys, I talked to the wife and she is ok with me flying out when the car is done. I will give as much advanced notice as possible. Hopefully we will have a good turn out. The BC boys are likely going to be choked that you get to see it first. Of course they will get to see it race on weekends. When I come out there it won't be broken in yet, unless Mev is already driving it around.
