I have an AEM DryFlow air filter (cone shape) left over from my SS/SC....still in great shape, not used very long. These are great for the air box mod and even better than any oily filter. $10 if anybody wants it.

If the airbox mod has not changed since my '07 days, I just drilled a small hole where the filter inlet is located to be able to fasten the new filter in the box and used a small strip of metal to secure the bottom of the open filter box just in case. I've seen some drill extra holes in the bottom access cover for more air flow.

Actually let me get back to you dude, I might be picking up an injen intake for 100 bucks from a guy in chatham who just emailed me back. but will def let you know

 

you dont have to cut anything, just take the bottom cover off, remove filter, and attach a cone filter to the flange, leave the botton cover off after. you may have to drill a small hole to tighten the clamp on the new filter.

ouch i was on the 4th concession in aburg yesterday around 11pm and we had 3 standing in the road so i smashed my horn all the way down the road and sure enough I seen another 2 big boys at the side of the road about 100 metres awaym they seemed to b smart enough to run away from the horn lol...that really sucks
