I used to use Eagle 1 nano-polish when I had my polished wheels, works good(available at Canadian Tire). Make sure whatever you buy is clear coat safe. If it's not clear coat safe you might make the wheels worse.

I'll second the Eagle One products. I personally use the EO A2Z All Wheel & Tire, its a great product.

Spray it on the wheel, and instantly you see a brown, dirty foam start dripping off the tire as the miles of brake dust just run straight off the wheel. I let it sit for a minute or two, then take my wheel mitt and wash away whatever is left. Leaves the rim nice and clean. Once I'm done that, I just take some Prima Epic and throw a quick coat of wax on the wheels, just for added "bling"

Nice thing about the product is that it is great for not just the rims, but the tires and wheel wells also. I'll spray some of it into the wheel wells, and add in some Meguiar's APC just for good measure. Let is soak for a second, then hit it with the wheel mitt, and all the salt, road grime, and other contaminants just disappear. Then I usually hit it with either 303 Aerospace Protectant, Meguiar's Hyper Dressing, or just some tire gel if I'm out of either of those. End result is nice, dark wheel wells to compliment the now sparkling wheels

Although, this awesome weather we've been having has been delaying me from getting out there and giving the car its spring clean-up I'm hoping this cycle of snow, rain, cold ends soon...argh.

Woah... way to much loving for the tires.. i would do that.. but being in the county, i'd give it a day.. maybe 2 being clean. I grabbed some of the mequire spray on the way home and gonna give that a try. If it dont work out ill move to the eagle kind. So far the one rim i did looked pretty nice.

Just curious hot hard was it to get out of your lease? Was it a dealership that helped you. Have a kid on the way (hopefully not twins) and might have to go to a larger car.. but lucky for me im a 4 year lease?

I actually posted it on www.realtimeperformance.ca this is Windsor/ Essex County's largest car based group forum..

and basically.. someone saw the post.. i actually knew him.. he is my best friends brothers friend.. lol.. so yea.. he really liked the car and took over the lease..

so for me, it wasn't that hard.. I did everything with Performance Ford (and will never return there for business again!).. but yea..

I paid $5,000 to bring the payment down from $410.91/ month to $255/ month.. besides, i had a 4/80k lease, in one year i drove 50k.. so lol.. hence why i had to bring the payment down so much..

I'm the master of getting out of leases early and losing money....lol The best way is too find someone to take over your lease, you can even have the dealership help promote your car on leasebusters.com for a fee. If you have lots of money you can pay all remaining payments or pay partial amount of remaining payments and roll some into new vehicle. Either way...it sucks and cars are a waste of money...lol

Had my first person try to race me today coming home from work on Lauzon Parkway
Some guy in an old neon with a fart can on the back. The light turned red and we both stopped, and I heard him keep his engine at a constant RPM so I took off nice and slow,Didn't want him to think we even raced besides,We know who would have won =)
Hope this doesn't happen more often as the warmer weather comes

no $$ as usual, someday I'll see the HP my car makes.

Everyone don't forget about Sunday April 13th...meet down at the waterfront. This won't be my last reminder!

Yo. The last time I dyno'd the car it was 10-2007, I just got the car dyno'd now that I've had the Stage 2 for a bit. Although it's running a bit rich on the top end. Joel says we could squeeze 10-15 hp if we were to tune it a bit. I hit Max 266.0 hp, 251.1 ft.lbs. Mind you it's a bit cold out there so the numbers may be a little higher as compared to SAE standards. Either way, if you take a 20% drive loss, that's 319 hp and 301 ft.lbs at the crank!

Anyhow, that's an increase of 35 hp 38 ft.lbs to the wheels. I'm quite happy.

As for the 13th of april, at what time?

Guys...I was thinking we could get together Sunday April 13th @ 1pm. The weather should be plenty nice by that time. We can meet at the same lot on the waterfront like last year, hopefully the gate is open. If we have any trouble we can just caravan to another spot. I hope this will work for everyone. This will give us the opportunity to also plan the Columbus Ohio trip the following weekend for those who are interested. I will send pm's to those who do not frequent this site that often. For those who were not out last year, this lot is located somewhat across from the Casino. I would take Ouellette down to the waterfront and make a right through the parking lot towards that band stage thingy. I will bring up this meet subject again as time nears to get a better feel.

Maybe we can even do a small cruise????

2007 (I think we can do much better in '08 with all the new SS/SC owners)

I just sent out 11pm's to those who do not frequent the board that often...I did not send to those who are addicted...lol Hoping everyone can make it!
See above post for details about Sunday April 13th.
