Here are some interior pics. Today we picked up a clothes dryer. We had to take it out of the box, but it actually fit! It's so nice having the ability to haul more than just ass

Baller, that HHR looks yummy.
I spotted a blue SS yesterday (well today at 1am) on the off ramp onto Central going east. Looks like he/she was turning left but when they saw me going straight he/she followed. They honked as I took the Lauzon exit. I waved, but I've never met someone in a blue SS yet.

I ran into my old boss from the Casino yesterday, currently a real estate agent for Century 21..he was driving a blue SS/SC. We chatted for a bit in the Century 21 parking lot on Tecumseh road. I always see a blue SS/SC parked on old Tecumseh Rd. heading towards Patillo Rd.

The turbo Ecotec feels so much different than the supercharged one!
For one thing, the turbo is a lot quieter than the supercharger, and there is a small lag, but it's not too bad. The turbo seems to spool up and be at full boost by 2000rpm.
I haven't really pushed it hard yet because I thought I'd wait a while to break it in. The traction control is really good on it, I've yet to try taking it off. If I floor it in first once I'm already rolling it will squeel the tires but not uncontrollably - and absolutely NO HOP. In the cobalt, I could never floor it in first because it would just hop and crash into the rev limiter.
I haven't tried the launch control yet, but it should be pretty sweet. I just have to press the traction control button twice to set it up for "competitive driving" and as soon as I'm at a stop it will say "Lauch Control". Then I can just hold in the clutch and floor the gas. The computer will keep the engine at 4000rpm and the turbo will be spooled. As soon as I let off the clutch it will lauch, but the traction control will prevent the tires from spinning too much. There's no need to take my foot off the gas the whole time, for each shift I can just hit the clutch and shift and the computer will keep the engine below redline and fully spooled. I'm looking forward to trying out that launch control.

Also, I'd recommend feeding it premium fuel from the get go. Mine's never had anything but Sunoco 94 since I bought it. Let's face it, you didn't buy the car for its superior fuel economy, you bought it to enjoy it.
Let me know how the launch control works for you once you've broken it in.
