go on zainobros.com for application tips. they even recommend ways to apply the polish....do not use circular motions, go up and down the doors and same with the hood/roof/trunk

Did you guys clay bar before applying any wax/polish? another great tool!

Who's in for the "tuner" meet at the Devonshire mall this Sunday @ 5pm. Do you guys want to meet at the Central Mall parking lot at 4:15pm and we can convoy to Devonshire Mall for the show?
I don't know if I'll be able to make it.Gotta help someone move.Whats Central Mall?Is that the one near the bridge...or Tecumseh mall?

I use a chamois to remove all spots, just have to dry it in a cool shady place to get everybit of water before it dries off on its own.

Is Z1 a contaminant stripper? One of our reps from BASF paints said to use what they call a 700-1 wipe prior to waxing. He said it takes all of the old wax off and allows you a virgin surface on the clear coat to polish for optimum results. Of course, I never did that last time around, but it makes sense.

Looks like a good turnout. Good thing the weather held up for you guys. It's funny seeing the Camaro and Mustang there....they really do look out of place in that lineup of cars.

It was my niece's b-day today so I got caught up in the family thing. As Frank already knows all to well, it would've been a tough sell to try and convince her that a car show was more important that her birthday (sadly, I had to bail on Frank for the Koni challenge in Ohio for the same reason.....sorry Frank! ).

As for the rice thing, doesn't rice nowadays simply constitute slapping a garbage can on any four-banger out there? Some tuner cars can be real nice all done up, but the wannabe's are the ones that drive me crazy (ie: trash can exhaust, rolling on 15's and hubcaps....)

Next Sunday(29th) I think I'm going to attend the monthly meet with the SEE guys in Michigan (Southeast Ecotec Enthusiasts). They meet at M59 in Highland, MI...probably about 30 minutes NorthWest of Detroit, they usually do a small cruise on the outskirts of the GM proving grounds. Anybody interested in going, starts at 1pm. Let me know...

I hope Frank has some good pics. for us...

R.J. = premium member...fancy!

Frank didn't end up going since he didn't have a partner in crime to roll with him. Now I feel extra bad, but what's a fella to do?

So yeah, I paid up for the premium membership. I figured I'd support the forum since it's pretty handy, but I also did so because I wanted the option to post attachments, but for some reason, it still won't let me even though it stated that was one of the perks of going premium.

Ten bucks for one year. As for Paypal, it's pretty easy to set up. I got mine set up so that the money comes straight out of my bank account when I buy something. It's great!
