So I don't know if Darren has mentioned this to you guys or not, but I'm having quite a tissle on my hands thanks to the Alberta government and their window tinting laws. Apparently, they do not allow ANY tint on the front driver and passenger windows of a passenger vehicle.
So in order for me to pass the out of province inspection (to get my Alberta and plates), I technically need to remove the tint, which blows monkey *****. However, a guy at work knows a place where they'll overlook the tint and pass it anyway, but I will still run the risk of getting pulled over and ticketed. A lot of guys say they've gone years without any hassle, but others say they've been pulled over several times. I'm basically at a crossroads here. The car looks WAY better with the tint on, but at the same time I don't wanna put up with any B.S. from the 5-0. What do you guys think?
PS - isn't there any better crimes to fight around here than window tinting anyway? Are the cops that bored???
