IDK about the exchange rate but Belle Tire here in Michigan gave me a good deal on Eibach's. If anyone wanted to run over and get some they can fit them at my house. I have all the stuff to do them and have done it on my car. If you want I can get a price and you can convert it to Can$ to see if it's worthwhile.

Andrew..you can still get across without a passport, they are being easy on everyone right now since it's a new policy. They just give you a flyer at US customs and let you through. The flyer just explains the new requirements.

hey brian..... u said ur goin with a custom setup if u go turbo...... in all honesty that souncsl ike a great idea, i may wana go that route. getting all of the parts shouldnt be a problem, like u said its just the manifold, turbo, piping, oil lines, injectors, etc (whatever we wish to put on our custom setups). my question is do u know a place that tunes around here? thats one of my major concerns with doin a project like this. if u know of someone i think i may just start collecting parts now! and another question...... this is for anyone, u guys think its better to go air to air i/c or another choice? personally i think air to air would be fine for the numbers i wanna see nd it looks cleaner IMO under the hood.

i got hptuners along with a wideband O2 sensor awhile ago and have been playing around with it.. im fairly familiar with tuning right now theres really not that much to it, just have to monitor air to fuel ratio (via the wideband), spark timing advance, injector duty cycles and IAT2 air temps.

yeah man id go for it you have the option of grabbing the zzp 2.4 turbo kit which looks mint but there are other options if you do a bit of research. whats reallly good is that we can use the 2003+ saab 93 intake/exhaust manifolds they can be found in a junkyard for cheap but they bolt right up to our engines, charge piping and a FMIC can be found on ebay for quite cheap, but the turbo you have to be careful theres alot of turbos on ebay which are knockoffs from china and sell for quite cheap around say 300 for a 20g turbo knockoff (the turbo used in the hahn kit) as opposed to a real mitsu 20g for around 800-900...

i believe air to air is way better for turbo because with water to air yeah water can remove more heat from air than air from air, but the problem is that water has a high thermal retainment otherwords once it gets hot it tends to stay hot.. problem with the supercharger is that after you do a few hard 3rd gear pulls the ****** thing gets massively hot and heatsoaks driving up IAT2's and the cars ECU starts to pull timing on ya.. i read that the hahn guys were seeing IAT2's of around 90F at wide open throttle pulls, thats exactly what you want as opposed to ****** say after doin a pull in a supercharged car depending on your cooling mods the IAT2 goes up to around 140-150F and you notice the car start to feel slower..

idk lol

alright. i know the manifolds will work on my car (apparently there is some minor modifications for the 2.4L) and which cars do u have unlocked for hptuners? if uve got it down pretty good i would be willing to pay hahaha

i dont think ill be cheaping out on the turbo either.... anything under 6 or 7 hundred bucks doesnt sound very reputable to me

oh yea, and do any of u guys have msn? im trying to get a better way of getting in contact.... ive already got a couple of the guys

personally i would go with red. it woul accent ur sidemarkers/brakelights well. the blue and yellow wouldnt look bad either, but i wouldnt just add a new color on like that unless u plan on adding more of it

I can't for the life of me figure out why people use amoral. It's HORRIBLE for your car. The amonia levels are insane in it and it can dry out your interior and the exterior stuff can do damage to your clear coat. Everytime I see/read/hear "i use amoral" I cringe. For off the shelf... megs or mothers.

I have always used Zaino, but I was cheap this time and tried Eagle One nano-wax. It does the trick for a wagon. It would have been a better pic. in full sun, most black cars don't fare well in the sun...but I'm not scared. haha

Now when you gonna polish Mama's wagon?

D, I'll be in Windsor next week, so if I'm in the neighbourhood at some point I'll give you a call. It'd be a weird twist of fate if they gave me a Cobalt as a rental for the week.

chances of getting a Cobalt rental are very good...GM flooded the market with fleet sales. I had a Cobalt rental once and hated it, made the SS feel like a Cadillac.
