first to second shifts are nice, hasnt bogged once so far.
in low gear if you press the gas its smooth acceleration.
with the first stage flash it was horrible
the second made it about 98 percent.
this flash is so far so good

one thing did happen to me and i spoke to paul about already, and i think this happened to ang a while back, i hit the carwash today, and as soon as i got out and hit the street it kinda wanted to dance,(sputtering) i thought i would of been ok since the splash guard covers the filter pretty good with the jbp intake but the sunoco jets blasts from underneath and water did find its way to the filter, after more driving it was back to normal, and i think im just gonna hit the coin op in the winter even if i have to freeze my ***** off LOL

one more thing, before thsi new tune, the car would make me very nervous about idleing, ex, im a big coffee addict but too lazy to walk inside so im always in drivethrough, and drivethrough around my place is always insane, i used to hit 115 degrees, im much more at ease since the car donst go even close to that now and im constanly between80 83, cruising as before id be more in the mid range and some times a bit higher.

Hard to avoid with an open filter CAI - that's why I seriously considering changing to the AEM set-up.

rain isnt really the issue, ive driven through bad storms wtih this intake with not a problem.
this is the first time my car has seen a drive through car wash with the cold air intake.

Yes, but down below...the high pressure water from the no-touch wash is getting through the headlamp assembly which is why rain is not a problem, but high pressure water is with this CAI

nice numbers mike, they ake me worry tho, my I shouldn't put on the 2.7" and stick with the 2.9" cause of the 8k RPM limit.

Hmm time will tell

Water- CAI

I still have the stock air box - modified.

Top outside part cut away - lower part still there as a splash guard.

No CEL's yet or sputtering caused by water.
