Got my new(used) SS/TC today!
As some of you know I wrote off my 09 ss a few weeks ago. So naturally i was going to get another. Its a mint condition 2010 coupe. Red. 64000km. Put 235 40 18 SP Dunlop wintersport SD's on the stock rims. Grips very well. Its completely stock except for the K&N CAI. Sounds like a friggin jet! I would like to put a catless dp on the stock exhaust then a mild 22psi tune from trifecta. Any thoughts on this? Clutch life?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Sure, if you like paying top dollar for the same parts. I always recommend ZZP because they have great customer service and great parts. Plus, they'll send you a prepaid return label for your stock downpipe for $50 in store credit.
ZZPerformance - LNF Stainless Downpipe #ZZ-LNFDP
I bought my CIA catless downpipe local for $200 and then added $300 in V-bands and a highflow cat, so right at or above Hahn MODpipe price. Wasn't worth it, I should have just had a hi-flow cat welded in.

no need to get a clutch imo until you need one. trifecta 22psi tune wont be over agressive. Know how to drive within the limits of your tq curve and your stock clutch will last.
Pending on what you want done first.. Id see Powell and get sway bar, and cabs, and rotated mounts. Mounts should be the first thing. After that its a crap shoot . Pick and choose as your budget varies.
I personally didnt like just a catless DP, i had to get a muffler to get rid of the rasp. BNeing 2010 emission testing isn't needed until 2017. I plan to have my car in "hotrod" status lol before then so i wont have to worry.
Be nice to see another tc out this year on the streets here in Ottawa.
FYI hpt all the way. See SSkev in burlington. One of the best guys around here in ontario. Its a bit of a drive but well worth the tune.

I have Hahn intercooler piping, TWM short shifter, Forge BPV, powerslot rotors at all 4 corners and Hawk hps pads all around. On my other SS I had a DXD clutch with the CM alum. Flywheel and loved it. I think i would look at the ACT all steel lighweight flywheel this time. GMPP clutch looks amazing for the $$. Why HPT over trifecta? I thought Vinces stuff was the schit!!

maybe 4 years ago it was. Even then I was recommending HPT over Trifukta. HPT the way to go now. Vince turned into a monk, grew a beard, and road a mini pony into the mountains of Mongolia never to be heard from or seen again. Talk to Powell. he will put you in touch with who tunes him.

I know that sounds like a lot, but you could probably still make money parting it. it is a lot to drop on it though. people would kill for the seats, wheels, brembos, and those motors seem to go fro about $2K. never mind all the little stuff that sells on eBay
