Hey Joe...the meet was great. We got to see some serious machines at TMP. Unfortunately, as you may have already heard, the event was cancelled after the 17 yr old girl (Kendall) crashed her jet car and later died. Who puts a 17 yr old into a jet car anyway?? Very sad. However, all in all a pretty good meet and turnout.

 

now we need to figure out when is a good date we can go back up and use our rainchecked reciepts to actually RACE this time. probably wont be half as many of us as yesterday but id sill be willing to go with a couple people.

 

I'd go again 100%

 

i didnt even get a chance to get a rain check, if i go again this year it will be on a weekday.

 

im sure if you bring the receipt you will be fine...it says the date...and im 100% positive they will remember why it was rainchecked...and if everyone decides a weekday be sure to give me MINIMUM 2 weeks notice so i can book it off or try and get a shift covered...i dont wanna miss out

I'm sure they'll let us back in for a date this year. The lady at the gate said that it was good for the rest of this season till they close the track down for the winter.

 

hey guys, just trying to catch up and find out how the meet whent... but it seems according to one post that it didn't go well.. Are we still getting together on the 15th for the MADD cruise ?
