Ya just got home. My mom rented a u haul trailer and came and saved my ass. Note to self. When I go back to Bismarck, go back with the car on a trailer lol.

Ya the motor will be back out of it this weekend. If there's any scoring on the cylinders that can't hone out I'm buying that other motor and I'll be back up and running in a couple weeks.

 

But I'm a positive note my trip to Bismarck was ****** awesome! That city is nothing but a car community. Every night is cruise night. Needless to say I was the puppy of the big dog crew this weekend lol. I got to go for a drive in the 700whp Evo. It has a 2.3 stroker, 6262 Precision turbo on 41psi. HO LY **** it was absolutely insane!!!! The car had pure traction, no spinning. I couldn't lift my head off the back of the seat no matter how hard I tried lol. After my motor got hurt I was super bummed out (obviously) and Cody the guy with the 480whp SS/TC threw me his keys and said "let's go beat down some 600's" (crotch rockets). Mother of god I was not expecting the power of that thing. It's on a 5557 Precision turbo. After 4k the car was all over the road lol. 3rd gear pulled soooo hard. Took some getting used to to drive. Needless to say it takes down 600's with ease . But I had such a great time regadless of my poor car.

Rolling around with all those cars really makes me want to eventually turbo swap lol.

 

Here we go bahahahaha OMG! Those are some awesome cars. My buddy with the evo 9 with very mild mods is impressive those cars are like they are on rails. I can't imagine it with 700+ HP. Sounds like a good crew. Can't wait now to fix my knock on get it tuned.

Sitting at speed factor getting the fucked up wheel replaced. These guys are being pretty good about it. Their organization and communication kinda suck. But they are doing right by me anyways.

 

More like rolling around in those cars makes me want to get rid of my cobalt and get something awd. As fun as that 480whp TC was the thing was useless. All it does is spin.

Taylor's TVS took the TC down till 120mph cause all it did was spin. I have a vid of Taylor racing a 470whp Cobra and being neck and neck with it.

 

I would love a Evo ix or x. Sexy cars. Handle like crazy, good power and a crazy aftermarket support for them. And the awd would be a real benefit here if you drive it year round.

Lol. Those cars are sick. Balts are fast in there own right if you keep it under 400whp but anything over that is just retarded. It doesn't show at the drag strip without big money. Just leave blackies for a quarter mile.

"handle like crazy" isn't exactly what i would say.

They are boats, you rarely see any of them post top times on scca for autox.

Miata's and S2K's handle like crazy, evos and sti's handle like land yachts

 

It's not that they don't handle it's just that no one can afford to replace parts on a 50000$ rally car haha

 

parts on the 8 and 9 are not that expensive. Motor wise the 4G63 was produced for 15+ years. Only thing to watch for is the diff and transmission.
