Even we don't see or hear from him much so don't feel left out guys!
Yes I did get married...
But I've also been dealing with a pretty busy work;
I work in High River, which is inarguably the hardest hit flood spot in Canada this year...
And I have had less "free" time - but hey, isn't that the nature of the beast when a monumental life change happens?

Well I'd might as well give an update. On Sunday driving to a buddy's place I laid my car down in 2nd and well, the motor let go..... Not catastrophic, I was still able to limp it 3 miles to my buddies place. After some investigating I found the pick up line to my meth to have broke . Compression test shows #4 with 0 psi. I guess better my meth to fail on a stock motor than a built one.
But I looked into rebuilding engine #2 property that got tight. And to do it right with upgraded sleeves ect was going to be over $2000. Trolling on ZZP's website I noticed they now sell the new Gen 3 short block out of the Buick Regal complete, all brand new parts with JE forged pistons for the lsj for $2000. Capable of 500whp in its stock form. So I pulled the trigger on it.
In the same breath talking to Taylor my tuner he has an almost complete ZZP turbo kit he wants to sell with an S252ET. He offered me a deal I couldn't refuse..... So Jon (Soundjunky) and mark I know you're going to be pissed, but I'm going turbo. I just can't make the power I want out of the TVS on pump gas without relying on meth injection. And nos doesn't really turn my crank. So Bluelightning version 3.0 here we go again. I would like to say screw the Balt and go V8 but it's just not in the cards. So might as well go fast with what I got.
I have 3 lsj motors for parts if anyone needs lol. And all my supercharger parts will be up for sale.

Do you know how upset I was with my mind wandering when you told me the motor let go? Lol it was like I got some closure when you found the broken meth line, we got an explanation.
Man I always have been nervous about meth. When I ran it I only had a 5gph nozzle on a 2.7 stock blower, but I had a fuse pop and I did a few pulls before I noticed it. My motor held up and didn't pop, so what did I do? Put a new fuse in to make sure it still worked, ripped the kit off the car, sold it, bought 80's and started tuning on E85 and told my motor it would never happen again lol. That was 4 years ago nearly. There was very little info on our cars and E85 back then lol bu unfortunately you Canadians don't get the fancy sauce up there.

We could get that magical stuff, we need someone who would start selling it. I bet if someone starts selling it that they would make money hand over fist in that market. Sucks that you had to go through 2 motors to figure out that turbo's the way to go or a V8! Lol
On a side note, my Lsj build is on hold for another year as I'm going to make my truck a bit of a monster before I rip my car apart. If anyone needs some internals or other parts, I'll help them out but I'm not jut parting with all my parts lol
