Could be very minimal. The shake in the wheel is ever so slight. Did you ever put your backs on the front?

Or tire..

But when I put on the winter rims and tires it went away what do you have to say about that?

Something broke. Haha. Perhaps winter tires being soft as **** has something to
Do with it? I Mean maybe it's still there just not noticeable with a soft tire.

That makes zero sense. You sure this isn't the same kinda thing as your high IAT2 problem? Lol

Maybe an axle issue? Something wrong with a rotor causing the rim not to tighten down properly?

Is your car really haunted? Did the knock monster give up on escaping your engine and try to get out through your tires?

Was the vibration constant or did it become more noticable when turning slightly to one side or the other?

It could be a lump in a tire from some of the cords letting go.

Between 100 and 120 kph the steering wheel would shake in my hands. Not before and not after. It showed up when i got my new rims and went away when i took them off and put on the winter set. I will check them this week see if there is any issues with the tires. But seeing that i moved the front rims to the back and the back to front and still a vibe was weird.

They are Drag rims right?

I wouldn't rule out a bad rim/ rim's. I'm assuming you could balance a rim that is out of round but would notice it while driving.

One rim was replaced in suspect of that. And you would think flipping the back to the front would eliminate any wheel/tire issues. Super odd. Unless mike is just high and the vibration is still there lol.

Did your wheels come with plastic centering rings?

That could be it. Keeps the wheel centered.

I second this. I use spacers so my winter rims clear my breaks and they are not hub centric. I take great care to center them (and do a better job then the dealership did) but still get wobble at 100-110 but not over that speed. I forgot about that. Didn't realize rims would have the same issue since they are the correct bolt pattern?

Hub centric rims would make sense. I tried putting my summer rims on with out them and they flopped around. I'd bet on that

Interesting. I do not have any spacers or rings on it. Will have to look into this in the spring. What do the plastic centering rings look like? And what are hub centric rings?

Ya know the more I think about it, the more I think that may be it. My rims are good for a few bolt patterns 5x110 and 5 x 114.3.

So do these get mounted in the rims or to they get put on the hub.

Hub centric rings are just a brand. They are a small plastic rim a certain size that fits on the rotor where the axle nut is. They are for aftermarket rims that don't fit exactly like stock. I can get some pics when I get home to tonight if you want, I can also get some ring sizes from my summer wheels too
