Manitoba SS 2013

Between 100 and 120 kph the steering wheel would shake in my hands. Not before and not after. It showed up when i got my new rims and went away when i took them off and put on the winter set. I will check them this week see if there is any issues with the tires. But seeing that i moved the front rims to the back and the back to front and still a vibe was weird.

One rim was replaced in suspect of that. And you would think flipping the back to the front would eliminate any wheel/tire issues. Super odd. Unless mike is just high and the vibration is still there lol.

I second this. I use spacers so my winter rims clear my breaks and they are not hub centric. I take great care to center them (and do a better job then the dealership did) but still get wobble at 100-110 but not over that speed. I forgot about that. Didn't realize rims would have the same issue since they are the correct bolt pattern?

Interesting. I do not have any spacers or rings on it. Will have to look into this in the spring. What do the plastic centering rings look like? And what are hub centric rings?

Hub centric rings are just a brand. They are a small plastic rim a certain size that fits on the rotor where the axle nut is. They are for aftermarket rims that don't fit exactly like stock. I can get some pics when I get home to tonight if you want, I can also get some ring sizes from my summer wheels too
