It was the first day lol I had to make sure it was solid! Its actually pretty quick for a truck. Probably still lose to a stock LSJ from a 40 roll though lol

Urrg shop didn't do something right when changing clutch, axle or whatever that thick shaft is called on passenger side where it goes into tranny is leaking tranny fluid. Hope there is no damage to tranny. I can still shift good so I'm sure it's ok.

As some as you know I am rebuilding my brother's sr20det sounds like we're gonna get forged 9.0:1 pistons on h-beam rods but we disagree on turbo. I decided he needed a ported head so here's some pics of the exhaust porting I did last night I'm gonna do some more work on it today hopefully I'll finish all the exhaust ports and get to start on the intake side but we'll see

Thanks! It took around 2 hours to get that one port done. I use a air powered die grinder with an assortment of bits I have a fast cut aluminum bit and 3 steel bits that cut slower to get the shape I want and I made a custom flap style sanding tool to get the final finish. In the second pic you can see how the aluminum carbide bit works as it leaves the surface wavy then I smooth it and a bit more shaping with the slower cutting steel bit and finally finished with 120grit. I'll post pics of my tools in a bit

This head is very simple so it's easy to port I spent most of my time on the inner radius and the only porting I did to the walls was to blend it to the gasket match and smooth out the walls

Nice work!

I make a custom flap tool as well for buffing electric lugs. Using scouring pads.

Why not do one of the pickup bed mounted princess auto gas tanks and just find a way to take it out of the truck

Just get those plastic ones and give it a shot with some gas first! Or just buy the VP ones for $50.

I just asked my service manager if he knew where I could get some drums from. Go out back and grab as many as you want, there's a bunch of em he says! I guess when we are done with our bulk oil they've just gotten thrown in the back yard. I thought they got picked up. Just gotta wash em out. Score!

I got a butt load of drums to, but they had chemicals in them, have been neutralized and washed out but I still wouldn't trust it

Ya with a clutch that isn't completey trashed lol. Man that was a fun day. Your poor poor clutch at the end. Slipping so hard and me just peddling to get it to grab again. I had to go for the glory pull

That was fun night. It was slipping so bad on the way home the cruise would not engage. Lol.

I think so! 430whp should net 122-123 traps once you are used to it. I trapped 123 in Cody's car spinning through 2nd a bit on that cold track day, and as usual with our track everyone was running slow compared to normal lol

That is pretty bad haha. So.....do Canadian tracks have the trap speed in KM/H? Serious question haha.
