So.....do Canadian tracks have the trap speed in KM/H? Serious question haha.
No its in mph

Lol you would really think it would be in kph. But that's why using the American system for many things isn't so foreign to us like the Canadain system is to you guys. It's everywhere in Canada haha.

Yeah we don't use the metric system for hardly anything. Its so much more simple too, but America likes to do things the hard way lol.

I'm having car driving withdrawals dammit lol

Me too man. This is the first time since I've owed my car that it's sat all winter and ready to drive. Not used to this

So should we plan a Gimli weekend this summer see if we can get a big crew out there maybe invite some competitors out too. Dustin I know Fraser would love to run the duct tape civic against you again!

Thats a definite must! Make a night of it. Race the test and tune Saturday, get Wastey pants with all the people that camp and watch some real cars on Sunday. I'd love to have that little pocket rocket a rematch lol.

If I can get a Saturday off work that would be a fun time! I'd bring ol Red up there.

Dustin, this must be weird for you since the car actually held together this year and no heart transplant is needed I might take my car out on the interstate tomorrow to get the juices flowing since its supposed to be in the 40's, take a nice slow cruise out to Menoken and back, about 20 miles. Then pull the engine bay stuff off for paint. We will see. I will drive the gray car though! Probably all weekend since it is supposed to be decent out.

Kevin, just remember to be very careful when you port your head, if you decide to. If you port it like you are with the SR, you will lose quite a bit of power with a DI engine.

Haha that would be hilarious! "MPH? Nah son KPH lol"

I'd trailer it up and bring some extra jugs in case we had to go out trolling And I could bring even extra to replenish your supply a bit!

yea I know totally different intake design I'm basically just gonna do a port match on the intake and then normal on exhaust. I will not be touching the "ski jumps" on the intake side

Lol well I'd trailer it to your house and then drive it to the track, I wouldn't show up to the track with a Saturn on a trailer!

We would have to go hustle some people though afterwards!

Maybe we will run into the impala that's never lost to a cobalt again lmao.

The gimli track was take over by new owners the year I took my balt to the track with my TVS. It was decently prepped that day. I know they've been putting a lot more effort in to the track than the previous owners were.

Lol maybe I'll find that Ferrari 458 that was there last time...."So uh you wanna race a Saturn? $100?" lol

That's good, cause our track doesn't get prepped for **** on street legal days. Driving almost 3 hours to run shitty times is always fun lol.

A lot of the guys that race Sunday dial in their cars Saturday so they tend to have the track half decent. I'll usually get there right when they open as hardly anyone runs for like the first hour.

That's an uncomfortable thought :/

I drove both my cars yesterday! It was 41* and all the snow has pretty much melted, and the highways were clear. An M62 ever felt so good! Then I ran the red car up to 25 lbs and it felt wonderful. Boost therapy is the best therapy!
