For me it's so I can have higher than 91 octane. I guess I could use 87. Don't know if it be free though

Big thanks to Dustin for bringing me his SC winter wheel to run on my car! Loaded the new tune, needs a little more fuel and took more timing

Thanks for the rip in your car! Good times!
It might be fast I can't remember. All I remember is the gates of hell opening and going a little deaf haha.

So far I'm really happy with it. Can't believe the difference it's making from what I was running.

I ordered a new tire from discount tire direct last night. Fingers crossed it's here before the weekend for the Quarry Days car show.

As Dustin and I were talking about me spraying meth next year and how I didn't want to hack up my charge piping he mentioned this morning tapping into the coupler before the throttle body somehow. Then I found this! Virtually free to do.

How would u hack up ur charge pipe? Just drill it, weld in bung. But that's also a good idea. I wouldn't do it cause I'd be paranoid it would leak, but still. U could also put gasket maker under the washers so it seals real good

I'd rather not drill a hole and weld a bung in my charge pipe. They are all nicely powder coated and I don't want to ruin that. The key to making it seal is very thin washers. And like you said throw some RTV on them for good measure. Also with the nozzle directly in the coupler you know the spray isn't being affected like it sometimes can depending on the bung you use.

I never doubted you. You just had no proof haha.

I do now thanks to u lol

Ya I thought the way u do about the nice powder coated pipe, but then I was all, no one sees it down there anyway lol. Don't know how it is on lsj though. I had to grind my bung down so the nozzle would be even with the end of the bung. But I'd say go for the coupler thing, if it don't work, couplers are cheap, just replace and use a bung

There's no reason why it won't work. After lots of reading this morning lots of people do it due to adding a bung in the charge pipe not being an option.

Drill a small hole in the coupler so it fits tight around the nozzle, rtv on the washers. It'll be air tight.

Lol that's a good idea! I'm thinking mid October sometime, but I'll get something a little more solid before long.

So I've decided when I get my car back I'm gonna pour a gallon of meth into my tank and see how that works for a octane boost
