got the trans out today, took me total yesterday and today of 6 hours. not to bad, didn't have any major issues. all the bolts came out good, 2 on the tranny were not torqued and came out pretty easy, its nice it was the two hardest ones to get at.

Well I do have a creeper so I'm not on the floor lol. And everything went smoothly so that helped. Didn't really have to fight with anything, just the 2 front subframe bolts which were retarded tight. They getting antiseize when they go back in. Trans didn't need any help coming out, unbolted it and lowered jack and it came right down. Was nice

hey guys!
Long time no talk!
I could really use some assistance/advice;
it's looking like I will be down there over the weekend of July 9th for a family wedding;
I haven't ever had to stay in a hotel in winnipeg before, and am at a loss as to where I should start looking;
I am most familiar with North Kildonan, but understand it has taken a nose dive in the past decade;
I would like to stay in a decent place, and not have to worry about my car being broken into - so tips of hotels in better neighborhoods (maybe the south, say the richmond area), as well as maybe options with enclosed secure parking would be ideal.
thanks in advance!

I don't really have anything to offer. I stayed in the Holiday Inn Winnipeg South Hotel and I had no complaints. Had covered parking in the back that seemed pretty safe. I stay in a lot of hotels, most of them in small oil towns, so it was a decent change.

Does anyone elses interior fan click when it's on, almost like there is a card in a spoke or something? Initially I thought one of the receipts or something just got sucked up against it or something but that doesn't seem to be the case, and it is driving me bonkers.

Only at low speeds right? Like 1-2? Two cobalts both did it. Had fan changed out on warrenty twice on each car always came back after a year or so. The last time they changed it on my current car it was good for almost 3 years and then boom came back when the warrenty expired
