They're fairly new. Why would it need to be Cobalt owners?

I am looking at:
Toyo Proxes T1's
BFG KDW's
Yokohama S drives.

These are all about $190 a tire. plus install.

They're all old tires designs. KDW's were good a decade ago.

Our cars don't behave the same as others.

An awd car or a rwd car review wouldn't be very helpfull.

I'd like to see how they compare in higher hp cobalt applications.

The Nankang price almost makes them worth trying out. With such a low treadwear rating they'd have to stick pretty well.

And a good tire is a good tire. Drivetrain layout won't affect a quality tire in any significant way. Grip is grip.

I agree. That being said awd and rwd can get more traction out of a lesser tire. At least from a launching perspective. They are a descent price so they are worth trying out the question is would it be worth spending a little more for allot more tire? Or are they pretty comperable.

From what I've read people say they're comparable to other DOT comp tires and better than the Federal RSR's. They do need heat to really perform very well.

Did better than expected in the rain. They are still a comp tire.

Local shop said he could have them mounted for $190 a corner. That's without showing him the Canadian online retailers price and would have to inquire on shipping.

In proper conditions my s drives actually work very well. Seems more pavement dependant than anything. Like at center port traction is awesome. It spins but keeps pulling at the same time. Perhaps I'll just play it by ear with the new snail.

I didn't get vacation till this year. Just used overtime for my vacation haha.

Stat time, muster time, regular hours banked and overtime get paid out at the end of the fiscal year. I have about 120 hours left right now.

I bought bridgestone potenzia RE71-R just before winter when Costco had a $70 rebate

Came to $705 after tax (before costcos $60 mounting) for 225/45-17

But I care about corner grip, unlike the rest of you :p
