Man, my car is gonna be there for a week atleast, as of tomorrow. So much **** to fix. Can u do me a favor and keep your eye on it since it sounds like you work there.. I have not had very good luck at Murrays! Always waaaay too many K on the car when it comes back.

I also took out the cone filter. just for no complication, not that there will be, but better safe then sorry.. took literally 10 mins, i was suprised.

Anyways, no more CEL, but damn do I EVER miss the sound.. Having the filter increases the cars fun meter 10 fold.

 

Well if you dont want cells but more air flow I have had my K&N drop in filter for two weeks and zero problems. go figure.

in totally stock form I have had one stall with CEL (2000KM). I cleared it and it never came back. Then I went into limp mode 3 weeks ago with cel but it cleared itself and runs fine(16,000km).

 

Personally the CEL doesnt bother me anymore.. Its been on for 30,000K, Im used to it.

I wouldnt put the K & N in if it did nothing for the whine. For me, the whine is what makes the car so much fun to drive!!

I have also never experienced limp mode??? What does it do, just cut u off for a bit?

Side note: I been tracing my halos across the USA. THey arrived in minniapolis last night. I will get these by FRIDAY!!! cant wait. You know they will be installed for SUNDAY.

I am up for a cruise sunday nite. supper would sound good but you know what. If some of you want to do that you can. I have plans and still would like to meet in the morning but I say majority rules.

EITHER WAY if you decide on sunday night supper and cruise I will be there for the cruise! I would love that. It will be sick if we get 10 of us out and may pick up a few people that Hispano1 and I saw driving around one other night that we dont think are on here.

so let me know what everyone wants to do.

My truck will be out in the upcoming weeks, so there wont be much Cobalt cruising left for me, as trucks are my true passion!
