Anybody familiar with MPI's policy's? I got the estimate back on my car the other day, and the cars pretty messed up!

MPI has allotted X amount to fix/replace my wheels. What are the chances of just getting them to cut me a cheque for the amount they were willing to pay to fix/replace them? I know in some cases its possiable.
