haha ya man, the car looks sick, nice job...hope to work on the rest tmrw with you neutrino but i gotta get this idling situation fixed before i do anything else b/c im thinkin orion may have touched the tune or they touched something in order for the car to jerk at me like that and rev on its own and exhaust sounding like its dieing...hopefully they can check my car out tmrw or else i'm not in on saturday unless SSNIPES can save the day with his labtop...

 

I dunno man.....I'm sure they would give it to you as long as the part they pay you for does not affect safety. In Saskatchewan, when my car was broken into, they paid me out for the window glass for me to fix myself, but they might not do that for an axle. Maybe you can get a partial payment for the cosmetic stuff?

find out the dealer price for them see if you can find wheels you like.mpi will only pay up to set price.if your new wheels cost less then o.e.m ,they will pay for the new wheels , if new wheels are more money , they will only pay up to set price of o.e.m. if new wheels cost more you will have to pay the differnece. talk to your adjuster and see what kind of options you have? where are you sending the car for repairs ?

If i can finish networking a school tomorrow I will go to Gimli Saturday.

shitty! what's happening? what did you ask orion to do? they may have reflashed it thinking you had a stock flash, as your VIN registered with GM would say you have a stock flash - i know the electrician there says people commonly need reflashes when the PCM gets messed up so that might be what they did trying to solve CEL issues.........

 

all i know is a new maf sensor, intake changed and that's from what i know but im thinking it was flashed or played with some how to make the car run like ****, when you drive slow its good..when you go a lil hard or hit the brakes when you come to a stop it rev's on its own and the exhaust sounds like its barely on...best way to describe it is how those muscle cars exhausts are when they idle and it rev's a lil and goes quite 4 a 1/2 a second or so...well hopefully its just the flash if not then i got some more figuring out to do until tmrw @ 8 am..

My guess is flashed. It's standard procedure I think when troubleshooting those sensors is to reflash the PCM if they find any problems with it when scanning (like a different program in the PCM for example). They probably put the stock A/F ratios back on there as your stage 2 flash is not registered with GM, so when they requested the flash from the GM computer, it gave them the up to date stock flash. Since the stock flash is for 34LB injectors, they are shooting more fuel than they realize cause you have 42LB in there. That would make for rough idling as the PCM is constantly adjusting for too much fuel.

I'd get reflashed from WES asap. - That's my theory


PS: I have told a few friends to meet at the one on McGilvery so that's where I'll be headin

 

but only thing is..my redline is still @ 7 but it just jerks the car if i go up to 4000 rpms...wouldnt the redline be back to 6500 too??

well im gettin reflashed 2day after 4 when someone wakes up....so hopefully the car is running good and i know it will be...i have my faith in someone...

but neutrino...are you still in tonight to do it on my ride?? what do i have to get to make it work with a switch? since i have no clue what to use..lol..
