well murray's doesn't deal with car starter/alarms anymore because of too many headaches and problems they've had installing them in gm vehicles so they recommend people coming to stores like mine...so i dont know if i trust orion to install something which other gm dealership's arent doing anymore...hey richard...wana re-due the eye lids 2nite? and if it would take too long then another nite..

Just painted the fuel rail cover, spark plug cover and fuse box cover. Looks SEXY!!!!!! Oh yeah and my cut out red too. Time to start on the grill...Im thinking of cutting out the steaks in between, sanding, primer, paint and leaving it open. Might be different,
Tomorrow??? Maybe. Actually you could stop by tonight, Andrew is doing most of the work. I really don't think im doing anything on his car. Except see how my high rise looks on an orange

I just got my K&N filter, picked it up a bit earlier today, so I gotta install it now, hopefully a noob non-techy like me can install this thing, I'll let you guys know of the results, and I got a week off from work Maj, so If I cant seem to do it, want to help me during the day before you go to work??
It is: K&N RC-4470
Oh and Jeff, for the stereo, when my step father comes back from New York in a few days, he's going to help me build a new subwoofer box, I took a look at it today, its a 1000 watt 12" JBL sub, and the amp is a 600 watt rockfort amp. I still have the wiring I believe, if not, I'll pick one up, would you still be able to help me hook it up to the stock stereo??

Step 1)
jack the driver's side up, take off the wheel
Step 2)
remove as much of the black spash guard as you can
Step 3)
unscrew the bottom cover off of the air filter box
Step 4)
pull out the stock filter and replace with the KandN
Step 5)
Rinse and Repeat

I took off the wing Thought. I took out the lock and antenna. I did as much as I could to save the pieces and to sell the wing on EBay. it was gone before I even took car to the shop to get it done.
It is not like you to assume.... Right?
I took autobody in highschool. not what I like to do but at least I know the process and get things done.
GOO GONE and FISHING LINE and patience. good luck. I agree it is not easy.
Are you going wingless or trading?
Well it aint so good but it is some what adequate compared to nothing.

I want to cry... I am trying to install the K&N filter, using the jack that came with the car, and placed it where you are suppose to...my side trimming poped out while jacking it up.. WTH.. I lowered it again, and it seemed to go back into place, but still noticeable now, so now I have to go to the dealership so they can properly put that side piece back in properly
Any idea what I should do to jack this up, without ruining the side trimming, or having it pop out.. grrr
