Yay, when are you putting it in?
Are you planning on removing the airbox completely? That looks a bit to big to fit inside the airbox like the K&N that I have.

I'd like the option of covering it if it fits in the airbox. If not, I'll leave it open and get a hydro shield for it

Im just going to throw this out there for anyone that cares. I get the car detailed every year by a guy that some of you have probably heard of/seen his work..

Stevebuick23 from heights.. He is really amazing at what he does, and for a reasonable price IMO. He does the exterior, interior and engine for 140 bucks.

Here is a before picture to show u how bad my passenger side door handle area was before he got his hands on it.. This happened from people dragging their hands along the door to get in. The car had 30, 000 K on it for this detail.

Here are a few afters..

his email is stevenzacharias@hotmail.com

He takes out all the swirls and **** out of the paint, and spends 8+ hours on the car.

he has msn, so u can talk to him that way as well

Later

I've seen a few pics of his work before, it always looks superb. That engine bay is sexy as hell!

What does he charge for a full detail?

It is for your suspension. Some sort of traction control?

Some of us mentioned it's probably raw materials to make poly pushings? I don't know though.

come EuteR. that is a Hemrrhoid excission set. You should know better!

well I was puting on summer tires today. shittiest thing happened. the lugnut key and locking lugs are crumbling. to make a long story short I cant remove the lugs from the front tires. shitty GM locking lugs. I will let the rims get stolen. not going to put up with this **** again.

hoping I can the lugs off with a pipe wrench. thank god this did not happen with the summer wheels on. I have know idea how they would get removed. If I had a air compressor and an air chisel they would be off right now.

UPDATE. - took it to my dealer (in the country) and they found the problem.

the front tranny mount bolts were loose. tightened it up and no more clunking. SUPER!

You should have asked about your lug nuts while you were there. Sounds pretty shitty that your lugs are broken there. Any idea what you are going to do?

...hope mine don't do that this weekend..
It's not suposed to snow anymore, only rain.. maybe I will get it lowered after all!!!

its just a pain in the ass. they will come off. If I had an air chisle they would be off already. just going to a shop that does and it will take them all of 5 minutes to get them off. then done. guess it is a blessing in disquise. lot of snow falling right this minute.
