saw u last nite andrew and euter's wifey driving the balt as well and euter driving the truck..
oh just to let you know, if any of you do decide to street race with the local street ricers i mean street racers, they already are getting together @ partsource down portage every sunday night after cruise nite around 11 pm and then they head off to rice it out..

was out, had a few runs..lol...1st run, 2002 1.8t vw wanted to go but i didnt know so from 2nd gear i shifted normal to 3rd and he gunned it so did i and we were nose to nose until i 5 seconds later i started pulling away from him...then we went from a stop and can u say ass whooping..lol...in 2nd gear i slowed down and was already a full length car on him...so now i know for sure those cars aint worth my gas anymore..lol...2nd race was on the way home saw the black gtp grand price with the body kit...he rev'd @ me so i said sure from when we stopped @ an intersection and as soon as it turned yellow i hit it so did he but i already had a 1/2 a car on him and when i shifted into 2nd he started creeping and then boom...that's all folks..he gave up...lol...so 2 wins 2nite...was going to race an mr2 with turbo but he backed out...oh well maybe next sunday or on saturday @ the track..
better keep the boost levels down i have a feeling that your next sunday night post is gonna go something like.........

Get pulled over and get a speeding ticked and a street racing ticked and the car is impounded for 3 months.
Street racing
more so on a sunday.

juuust as I thought. All the Cobalt guys are either sleeping cause they work shift work to support the payment on our econoboxes, or the old farts went to sleep haha......ok, now I'm going to sleep cause I work shift-work to pay for my econobox....

LOL I fit into both cateogories.
I have had to learn the hard way as some others have too. Good luck all who street race. this is what I know for sure though. It is alot cheaper to pay $40 at Gimili or $40 for 4 test & Tunes at Altona plus the gas and time rather than cruising the whole night and race against the pretenders on the street. At the track you will find some respectful people who do know how to drive their cars which truly tests your abilities and the cars ability. To boot you get Time tickets for free that tell alot about your performance and time vs getting a ticket that costs 10x as much and only shows how fast you were at the time he pulled you over.

hispano an Mr2 turbo will be just as fast as you and maybe a little slower. If he is stock and you are stock.
Try not to shift into 2nd instead of 4th like i did against one of those though.
Also after 5 seconds you should be well over 120km/h so there is no way you shut down at 5-10k over the limit :p
