no its actually acting worse then the srt4...sometimes i wish i kept it or got something else when this happens...well im going to put the stock 1 back on and everything is stock on the car, pulley, injectors, etc...everything i have to mod is in the trunk which im leave at home when i take it to the dealership but basically i already am not gettin anywhere with them even though i have 6000 k's left before 60....for them to deny me warranty then they should have done it last year when they saw it and they said nothing about it...and cancelling my warranty over an intake, come on thats PATHETIC even for murray's and gm...and the intake is nothing to void the warranty anywase, its basically just a different filter like you guys have on your cars...
do you think i should write a letter to gm head quarters and see what they say about all of this since im sure im not the only 1 in canada the dealership isn't doing anything much since i am close to my warranty compared to someone like you dayn who barely has any clicks on it?? Im sure if you had this problem, they would help you with a silver spoon and still offer you the best service ever...or w/e they claim..

No, juan's problem isnt the intake. the intake is an excurse for the real reason. Watch them pull out the "we notice a premature wear pattern on your car in specific parts. As per our warranty agreement we do not cover racing or any other kind of user abuse.".
Them blocking you because of a CAI is BS. It sounds like they have already written you off as a customer and could care less if you like them or not because legally they are in the right and they don't give a damn.
Also I get the same attitude when I bring my car there and i was below 4000km. They were only semi nice to me last time because they fucked up big time on my car.

Mine did this once. It happened the day I got stage 2 installed and I think it basically flooded (but the guages were all retarded too, so i dunno). I just pulled over and waited a minute and restarted and everything fine since. The only change was Stage 2. The air intake had been on for about a month or more. It's possible it's your PCM - if it's STILL happening, do the smart thing and check all fuses, lol. Also, there are 3 dealerships here, if it were me I'd try them all before going back to Murray's. But it sounds like a PCM issue. I'd have them reflash it wherever you go - should only take about 10 minutes (the actual flash takes about 2).

sorry to get off topic but im just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem again...
yesturday around 7ish i rev'd my car and then my spedometer guage, rpm guage wouldn't work and the car sounded like it was struggling to stay alive. When i turned it off and back on after waiting 5 mins it stayed the same and when i started in 1st gear, it felt like it was choking and i would be reving normal to start off and then in a split second it sounded like i was redlining the gear and then when shifted into 2nd it would slowly pick up and then 3rd it would be normal but my guages wouldn't work at all. So i kept driving for about 15-20 mins and then my spedometer guage would work again but my car would be starting off slowerer then ever and my backfiring was just insane, it was just poping every single time i shifted each gear or let go of the gas and with my exhaust, everyone can hear my car being on and this time it sounded like a old muscle car where you'd hear the car engine for a second and then go silent and repeat itself and then just go quite where you wouldn't hear the engine or anything coming out of the exhaust at all. So I did take my car to the dealership to do a scan but they claimed that since i don't have the original intake, they can't do anything for me and i've told them and my service guy is fully aware that last year when i had about 10000 less clicks in my car, the engine was fine with the aem intake i have and now they are trying to say they can't do anything unless its back to normal. I've also had several problems with the car where it my dash lights would go off and so would my guages for a split second, but the high beam indicator would turn on and then turn itself off and go back to normal. But my high beams would never go on themselves, just the indicator and my boost guage would still work. It even kept working yesturday. Shoulda bought a honda?? lol J/K. im no car wiz but im pretty sure the intake isnt your problem, they are just useing that as a excuse to not fix ur car, best bet IMO would be bitch them out and tell them to fix it. if that doesnt work...trade it in for a civic SI..i hear they are quick :P
A loose wire? Is the balt acting like your srt4?
Either way you have had lots of issues with that dealer in the past. They may just have a reason to deny you any warranty now.
Ebay a stock intake. Install it then bring it back to them. Sucks to have to live by their rules but in this case it could save you a ton of cash. I also hope you have stock injectors, belt and pulley since for an issue like that they may check everything just for another reason to charge for service + deny you warranty.

It's true. Murray's service is just terrible. When I had my winters put on, they fucked up on balancing the rubber and I had to fill the tires every 3 days until i had it fixed. On top of that, I had my 10k service done there, they told me it would be 69.99 for the whole thing, when I got there they charged me 50 for the service, and 60 for an oil change. ended up paying around 150 bucks.. ****** dumb.

honestly i ran 14.3 as a personal best with gms2. then on a second vist i did 13.9. why? practice and learning to drive. the condtions were worse on that second day and i did 14.5 t0 14.1. then i finally put it all together from annalysing each run to get my technique down. driving a 1/4mile sounds easy till u actually do it. it is either juan car sucks or juan needs more seat time. oh and if they get him to start outside of the groove then yeah times will be hurt.

well i contacted gm headquarters and they have no clue why gm is not doing anything for me if i had the intake on for a while and its causing lighting and engine problems...they aren't impressed with dan murray right now b/c of that and have no clue why they are turning me down if im within the warranty still...so they are looking into it and going to get back to me by wed..hopefully its great news but i know murray now has another negative report against them...oh and they also questioned about the rotors why i went to 2 different dealerships since they were able to tell that from me giving my vin...now i wish things move smoothly..

im prayin they can bitch them out and get them to do something b/c this is just non sense..after them seeing all the problems and etc i went in for, they were questioning that dealership if it will work on bigger problems, other then small lil things that they have fixed so far but the big stuff, not even a chance...LETS HOPE I WIN..LOL..

Hispano just go to a different dealer, go to a pontiac dealer if the chev guys don't like you, the techs are just as capable.

that's what i might end up doing but i want to wait and see what gm headquarters have to say. The reason i changed it is b/c of the same problem im gettin right now with the cobalt. The srt4 wouldnt start once and a while, speaker problems, boost guage not working, car starting off very very poor like how my cobalt is acting and the dealership never fixed anything, i had to go to the dodge dealership every week about once or twice a week for the same problems and got nothing so i said, enough is enough i luv the engine but i cant stand the service or anything about them so traded it and thought i was lucky with the balt until now. Oh and last time i went to a pontiac dealership, they didnt help me @ all, they wanted to charge me for them to check out my car....and that was at point west auto mall...if any1 else recommends any other shops that they know will do something, im all open ears...
