orion ended up taking over my remaining 3 years on my lease, it pays that i know the used car manager lmao, not going to cost me a cent to cancel my lease and start a new 1 , it all worked out in the end .

Well, apparently the part swap was simple as ****.. he did the actual install portion over i think it was 3 days? He's waiting for a time he can get to TTP to dyno tune it properly.

 

Speaking of turbo... Where has Kennyspec been lately?

That's a good question.. Haven't seen him around the forum for a while. But then again, its not unlike him to disapear for a while, then randomly show up with a list of progress reports :P

 

Gimli is a go for the 30th 100%, lanes 7 and 8 will be ttest and tune all day long, the other lanes will be having a memorial race, if there's over a 100 cars, if not then it's regular test and tune.

Hey guys ive been pretty busy with work and other things. I was in Minneapolis since friday and just got back late sunday night. Not gonna have much time over the summer to make this kit cause im gonna be in germany July 4 to the 16 and then in Toronto Aug 12 to 19.

I am kinda waiting to see more pics of the 2.0 turbo thread and that other turbo thread just to get different ideas for my kit. I have a VERY good idea of what i want to do i am just getting other ideas. I an gonna make the intake adapter similar to the one in the 2.0 turbo thread. As of now i have intake adapter plate, TB plate and a Exhaust gasket flange drawn up in autocad, just have to take it to the waterjet to get it cut out. Im also looking for where to get a new turbo for a decent priice. My project isnt really gonna happen untill winter when i am gonna put the car in the garage and really rip it apart.

And on a side note i bet I can take off the SC faster than anyone on this site lol, ive had it off about 30 times now for drawing up that plate and test fitting some things. (i can have it off in about 10mins)

 

I can do it in 5mins.... Though it wont be going back on after that...
