well if that is the case I will make a big effort to get there and see if I cant put out some record cobalt runs before there is turboed cobalts at gimili.

turbo is the way to go.

IMO go with GMS2 and 2.9 or go 60lbs injectors with 2.8" and in either case do the blower porting, intercooler dual pass, and header with downpipe. then your done. otherwise turbo it. That is a fact JACK.

 

My "dream" setup would be a bit different:
-Poly engine/tranny mounts
-GMS2 w 2.9" (or Twinscrew swap/tune)
-Dual Pass and Intercooler sprayer
-CABs
-Catback Exhaust, honed manifold
-DRs

and for autoX I'd add
-anti sway bar
-coilovers
-drilled/slotted rotors

but alas, I'll not be doing most of that.

I like it all and sounds good except the exhaust. catback will not give as much power or sound as doing header and downpipe. I will bring stock exhaust and show why the header honed is not a big difference. GMP states honed exhaust will give you 30cfm. that is not much. full exhaust would be even better but on a budget the header is a must and the down pipe at the top is just under a 2" opening. that is why GMP exhaust is only 2.25".

Guys, don't you want to be at teh track at like 9:00- 9:30 so that you can get checked in and ready to run at 10:00-10:30. Every time we go, we're usually at perking at 8:00, we have a relaxing breakfast and than we drive out (ssnipes joined last year, great guy to hang out with) He fit right in with a pack of dodge boys

I think your like "Im da ****" type of person LOL.... really they are the nicest guys and they all helped me on my first day out there. Plus I must say I can appreciate "Da ****" they are bringing out there to try and run 10 seconds. It would blow your mind. most nights this week I will be testing and tuning.

many bug guts by the time you get there. Especially since last year we drove at what 160km/h the whole way? Hell i was happy at 110kmh until Wes and Ryan caught up and were in a much bigger hurry than i was.

I will prolly pressure wash the car to rinse it off the night before and buy a car wash when i get back to wpg.

hey guys last week i went to halifax for vacation, i saw so many cobalt ss supercharg!!!! they sup up thier rid crazy.....

...also their are soo many sunfires here that people suped up they look so stupid they think their soo hot in that **** mobile

 

I have a friend with a very nice looking sunfire. Full body kit, custom exhaust and supercharged with 7psi.

Also I have the 30th of for sure. So I will be going.
