Well, the price is right.....

So yesterday, I'm in the middle lane on Portage heading West out of town. A C-5 Vette pulls up on the right and some 60s-70s muscle car on steroids on the left of me. They start revving engines like mad, and what can you do? No wife in the car, no traffic and a total of 16 cylinders screaming and egging me on....
Well of course I lost, I didn't even try that hard, but the fun part was watching. Like the Academy Awards, I was just glad to be nominated lol. I mean - the fact that they thought the "race" was even a possibility says something. - haha

Would have been nice to see a run up to 100Kph, cause I shut it down at 60Kph (still in 1st gear for crying out loud lol). After that, I remembered people saying that they raced in the city and got into 3rd gear. I have NO idea how that is even possible unless you add a "1" in front of the speed limit sign.

YOu know U made the right decision. If that was me the story probably would read differently. I dont like my car cause it seems to everyone else to be a pretender to others and the little car is being challenged to prove itself to all..... sucks. but I give you alot of credit you made the right decision. ignore it. dont even try. your better off telling them you run the car hard at gimili but not on the street.

 

School zones are my drag strip. The more kids around the better.

ya wes. you NEED to wash the bugs off. the added weight alone will add +1 second to your 1/4 mile.

I am down for perkins at 8 at the EARLIEST. Plus i am bring a girl with me and she doesnt want to wake up that early either. 8:30 is still what i would prefer and hit gimli by 9:50-10ish.

or else i will just leave at 9 so i dont have to wake up so early.
