Yah, it is worth while investigating modifications to see how it impacts warranty (if you care) and with legislation (Traffic act). I did. MPI approved plate mod
Springs - well I believe Juan had that checked out, were good. Window tint yeah its good .
GMS2- Priceless!

GOOD BUY "FASST" (name dubbed for my car in reference to fast SS). Gonna miss you. It goes today. Pics later on.

How did he get a ticket for his headlights? Aren't the Ebay projectors DOT and SAE approved? Doesn't that make them legal?

OK sorry guys! Thought that was all I had to say haha. I just got up. Anyway, Oakbank RCMP found 36 ricers, and I think they were gonna try and impound or ticket all of them, possibly lay spike belts if they tried to leave. I dunno how the story ended though, as I got busy with the usual drunkeness up north..... I guess if it is big news, we should hear about it somehow - sorry.

And WTF ticket for projectors? W T F! Were they night-shaded or something? Seriously, WTF.

the blue LEDs are actually illegal to have on....weird how jeff or I didn't get hit with one last year....

just take the ticket to court.. chances are the cop wont show
Or just switch headlights with someone for a bit, go to court and show them that you changed your lights....they will throw the ticket out....and then just get your headlights back

As for Drumheller i am 100% going....and i may be bringing a friend as well....
Im not going to gimli...gonna save the money for the drumheller trip....

What 1/4 mile times did all of you run last year at Gimli (or last slip that you have)?
What are your goals for times this year?

All the Gimli talk on all the local forums has got me excited, unfortunately I won't be able to make the May long race weekend 'cuz I'll be camping (With jeffereyss no less lol). I'll definately be out for any other Test & Tune that doesn't fall on a long weekend.

Last year I was completly stock and didn't run. I am hoping for between 13.7 and 14.0.

And I just about asked what you drive but then i saw your signature.. Have you run and if so what did you run?

Last season I ran 13.80 @ 99.60, 2.00 60ft
All 2.0L motor and slicks. Shooting for 13.4-13.5 this year by getting more seat time and bringing my 60ft down to 1.80. In the next couple months a new clutch/flywheel, new intake manifold, and new tune should help also.

So since you ran the 15.45 you've modded a little? Even if you didn't have any new mods, just getting practice out there can bring your time down. If you're running a 2.5+ second 60ft, bringing that down to 2.2-2.3 can bring you oh so close to 14's.

It's not about all the horsies, it's practice and more practice. You'd be suprised what you can pull out without adding power.
