honestly id go get it checked and determined what is wrong.....it may cost a little but it could save you from spending cash on a problem that potentially could grow and cost more if you leave it.....

i never really got a straight answer tho jeff, i would just like to know EXACTLY whats wrong, so i dont go order parts and then "oh sorry, that wasnt broken"

ive been told from a dealership that the problem was because my tires where worn out...i cleary know thats not true..i would just like to see some physical evidence on whats wrong..because when i looked under my car, the only thing i could see wrong was my control arm or strut (dont know what it was exactly) looked a little bent.

take it to the dealer..pay the peace of mind inspection usually $40 bucks and get tehm to give you a writen estimate! or you can make a mpi cliam...get the whole car fixed up.and either pay your ded or pay out the total repairs of the claim.paying your ded...you will have a surcharge.buying out the claim...your paying the total cost of repairs.so if i find used parts for your car...it will be cheaper.used parts will only be looked for if your over 20000 kms and when you make the claim say it happened this year in 2008.this wayt for sure we will find some used

anything that happens in the same year or " model year " is automatic new parts unless car is owned by a buisness.if car is under 20,000 kms ...automatic new parts.

anything over and above that used and aftermarket are utilized.so if your 2007 got damaged in 2008 and you were at like 21,000 used and aftermarket parts will be searched for before new o.e.m. parts are ordered if that makes sense?

I never did and if someone at the dealer denied I soon learned you just go to another dealer to get it done. The person behind the counter makes all the difference in the world!
and I never ever removed my rear plate or covered my VIN. never an issue for myself. and I wouldnt care. cant deny me warranty for legally running my car in a non competitive situation. I am not racing, it is test and tune, and I want to see how fast the car really is. Run it hard? yeah but abused? no I dont think so. nothing anyworse than the other guy racing on the street? get over it I would tell them. but who knows, it just never happened to me so maybe I would lose?

I don't know about them, but I've never convered my VIN. The only thing I did was remove my plates, cause it takes 10 seconds to do.
As far as Warrenty goes, I have had nothing but good experiences with that. Hell, they replaced a bunch of front suspension parts a few weeks ago knowing full well I've got lowering springs. They didn't give a **** about them, even though they were likely the cause for the rest of the suspension getting wrecked.

As for the whole catch can thing, I wouldn`t worry about it. I only had the tech guy tell me I needed it once. And the rest of the year the same guy didn`t say a thing. It`s really not an issue.

As far as Orion, yah it helps to talk nice, but once they screw up all dealerships are scared to own up and will pull all excuses out of their ass. It's just business. (Slow tach... GM Changed the tune.... It's not supposed to rev to 7000....) LOL good times.

bring something to act as a catch can just in case. cut a pop can in half and use wire for a handle. put it on at inspection and talke it off after.

Yeah, we just had the on time where he freaked out. Plugging it would be a bad idea, so if nothing else get a catch can (soda can and string) and keep it in your trunk I guess. Or even better, Dual Pass Option B! lol I subscribe to the "meh, who cares" camp though.

To anyone who says Chevy's aren't built tough!

Remember in the middle of last month, how i told the story of dooring that guys car?
Well i got back from MPI today, and they estimated the damages to his car at over $600! Meanwhile, my little baby rolled out with $15 bucks worth of a paint chip.

Take that Toyota!

When you got your alignments done, did you get a before and after of your toe, camber, and caster settings?
Sounds like your either toe in, or toe out is off spec and casuing pre-mature wear on your tire(s). If you got aligned for 0 toe, and now it's out of spec, then you can isolate what the problem is, be it damage to the tie-rod, control arm, etc.
