i'd rather just put on my 2.9 pulley... the problem i have is that the dual pass endplate cooling mod with option B looks too complicated for me, and i wouldn't trust a dealership to try it
i know i could do a heat exchanger easily enough but most people are saying the heat exchange by itself won't make a huge different and that it's better to have the dual pass and a heat exchanger.

Wes had a 2.5" and a 2.79" and I believe neither helped him make a better 1/4 mile time. of course Wes would be the best person to ask because my memory is pretty bad.

Higher octane gives you the ability to change timing and get more performance. The side effect is cooler temps by a LOT on $5-$10 washer fluid mixture. If you just want the lower temps it is a good way to go with less work. Personally I will be getting an aftermarket H/E and dual pass option B and moving to a 3" pulley.

I ran 2.6 and 2.8. When we were out there was a terrible head wind that was taking 0.2 off the wild bunch times. in that I could have done 13.7 or 13.6 with my mods but I had never really said it cause I wanted to do it! that said, I am only saying it now cause I dont have the car to do it.
I would just GMS2 3" and cooling mods. it is safe and your will do very well. Tune not really that necessary then either.

hey p1llar i can't reply to your for sale thread on the heights for some reason.. are you interested in trading for a rockford fosgate 15" p3.. dual 2 ohm voice coils.. 500 watts rms, in a nice carpeted box, pounds like hell. sub was $499 new and box was $125

nope, i sold that already, you would need a 500 watt mono amp at 1 ohm.. the subs voice coils are wired for 1 ohm. but it's a huge sub, barely fit in my previous car, I think thats why nobody wants to buy it
actually i'm looking online and wow the prices have dropped, apparently msrp is $349 (But i bought local from advance so i probably got ripped off lol)

oh and btw everyone, be on the lookfor out a base orange cobalt with a black high rise spoiler, he drives nuts and I think he was trying to race me in morning rush hour traffic to say the least and he was staring me down haha.
