lol thats a good vid, portage.. osborne.. pembina... mcgilvary, route 90 lol it looked like you were driving to my old job in the ft garry industrial park. and you drove by the infamous intersection where JP waved the black momba at me.

Not sure how this will work on the track with different traction then the street, but with the way I figured it out from driving around the city last night I can really feel the car pull away hard as soon as I shift into second.

Hopefully on the 31st I'll have a camera person to tag along. I'm bringin my camera again, but this time I'm also bringing a tripod!! No more shaky cam for us! Thanks for the videos though
yah everybody has different ideas for shifting points, mine are pretty simple.. 7000 rpm in each gear I do that because the typical stage 2 dyno shows that there really is no power drop off.. so i figure may as well use up the gear and then when i shift i start higher in the torque curve

and the original videos are really good quality, (aside from the shaking). so if you (or anybody) wants I can burn them their runs on a cd.

Sweet video. That camera view is very nice, how do I go about getting my hands on one Thought? I can steal my step fathers video camera. Ryan was talking about what you were setting up. And now seeing this video, I think this is an awsome idea.

He has a smaller DV digital cam. Would something like that work?? let me know

Hey Mike, i've got a question for ya since you've been to the auctions at associated auto auction. Theres a beater that i've been interested in for the last 3-4 for auctions, it hasn't sold yet. Can i go to the next auction and bid $100-$300?

Hey Matt. Andrew is using my prototype, so as long as he has no issues with it (I've made a few improvements/changes in design), I'll be selling the mounts with a basic tripod head attached for about $35, and I can make one for you anytime now that I have all of the materials I need for production. If you need a bigger tripod head, like for Ryan's camcorder, I can sell just the mount right now, or I am working on sourcing some larger tripod heads in a few weeks. I haven't started selling them on here just yet cause the mods haven't got back to me regarding supporting vendor, grr....

Yup, held on with 2 wingnuts. It takes about 5 minutes max to put the mount on the seat and the camera on the mount, and about the same to take it off. Can all be done without tools, or you can really tighten the mount using a robertson screwdriver.

I remember seeing Tripods at XSCargo for $10ish that mounted to the dash with a suction cup, nice and cheap.

Mike didn't post any of my good videos... it was damn windy out and I was having a hard time standing up and trying to keep myself from blowing away never mind holding the camera, but when we moved to the other side of the track it was a lot less windy and I could get a better shot because the poles for the speakers aren't in the way. Where are those videos?
