So the track was closed when we go there. Complete rain out, and a huge let down.
Got a new camera mount test unit from Courtney, and this one is looking to be super awesome!

I got some footage on my camera, but unfortunately it records to .mov and I Windows Movie Maker doesn't support that file type...
I could hack something together by going through multiple conversions to end up with a raw .avi file, but that's a lot of work, and the quality will likely decrease significantly.
I can't find my copy of Adobe Premiere, so I'm "purchasing" a new one right now. I'll have to wait on getting some footage up it seems.

 

..........and to add to the story. To get our "fix", we went to SpeedWorld and had a blast!!!!

Yeah, the stupid mgmt at the track canceled the day at 11am, and it was sunny by noon. Last year when it was rainy, they just waited - I don't get it........

While taking pictures with Ryan and JP, we were approached by a guy with a WRX, he handed us some info on an upcoming car show, DTP. I'm assuming it's from the same people that did SCN, same sponsers etc.

Anyone interested in entering? it's $50 per car plus a free 1 yr. subscription to PAS (Performance Auto & Sound). If we get 5 people or more and register as a 'club' it's $40/car.

I would be interested in signing up my car. It would be unfortunate to see a low turn out like SCN and have them pull out of Wpg because there weren't enough cars joining.
Also, I'll have to pictures up shortly, working on some video from the camera mount.

its a 6minute video with 5 Races...
1st: 50 roll, 2nd Gear - I creep past for the win.
2nd: 50 roll, 2nd Gear - He creeps past in 4th for the win.
3rd: Dig - I win pulling a bus.
4th: Dig - He wins b/c my driver MOD is faulty.
5th: 60 Roll, 2nd Gear - BEST RACE EVER WE ARE NECK AND NECK THE WHOLE TIME UNTILL THE VERY END I PULL 2 CARS IN 5th GEAR.

-it was some good racing, we determined we are pretty much dead even ( I have much better horse on higher revs though ) and this all had to do with driver mods, not our machines.

 

Holy crap those are some long races. The last race was 29 seconds long, how fast did you get up to?
