So this broad on donald who mowed down a bunch of people for no reason...... Killing 2 of them. Injuring 3 more.... How come no one in the media seems to care, and there is no "outrage" at all. Is it because the driver is a middle aged woman in an SUV?

Good thing it wasn't a young guy in a cobalt or we would already be charged with manslaughter and a whole bunch of other **** and the public would be going crazy and screaming "something needs to be done".

Hahaha, wow I was just looking outside, and it went from being cloudy and dry to an intense down-poor. It's insane out there right now!

 

Yah next is the miniture hail. Had some of that just now. Nothing big enough to hurt though.

Are they fixing your s/c under warranty?

 

Yup, hail just hit here. About the same size hail as I got in my car last week :P

As for the S/C, it looks like they might be. I met with the Manager today, and we went for a road test. He heard the noise very clearly, but has absolutely no idea what it is.
When I described it over the phone, his initial thought was a bearing on the way out. After the road test, he thought it sounded more like a bearing seizing.
After popping the hood, he saw how close the s/c's pully was to the rest of the pullys, and now he's uncertain if the sound is even coming from the charger itself. Realistically it could be anything in the engine bay that rotates with the engine.

So, he asked me to give him till the middle of next week (since Mon/Tues are holiday's) to contact GM Engineering and GM Performance Dev, to see if they have any one-off cases on file of something even remotely similar. He said if they have 1, or any cases that seem anything like it, they'll order up all the parts used to repair any of those cases and they'll swap out everything till they find it.

I'm very happy with the results from today. I can't expect them to just know what it is, but now at least they are showing willingness to fix it, instead of challenging me on my "aftermarket" parts.

 

Good to hear. And at least you have it documented now so if anything happens that could be related you're covered.

And after the hail... it seems to clear up. I wonder if you are actually to the east of me or it's just conincedence that the stuff is happeneing where you are 5 minutes later lol.

Actually, it isn't clear, its stopped raining but it is dark clouds everywhere.

But, it hasn't cleared up here at all. After the hail (about 5 minutes) it stopped raining almost completely. But then about 5 minutes later it's back to a harder downpoor then the first one.

$300 at a shop includes an alignment as well. that is half a shift for me and easier for me to do half a shift than do the car.
