In slightly more pleasent news (for some..) the track was so-so today.
There weren't many people there all day, so I think JP and Mike got about 15-20 runs in...
It was really hot though, so no record setting for Cobalts.

Maybe you should move down south of winnipeg in the clean neighborhood, lol, people wouldn't touch your car in fear of getting sued!

Yah fun day at the track, got plenty of practice launching and now I'm getting some low 2.3 60' but either the heat or the smaller pulley causing heat seemed to kill my top end...

And of course those SRT-4's walked all over us lol, and a Mazda Speed 3 was getting some good times too.

Heat

In may I ran 14.4 with a 2.65 60' at 102 mph

and today it was 14.6 with a 2.33 60' at 97 mph

unless maybe that very strong wind in may helped me that much... but i'm not sure.

 

i was running 16's all day, till later the day i ran a 15.6

 

It seemed all the street tire guys were running .3-.5 slower than before, I know it's tough but a set of drag slicks makes such a huge difference+ then they let you run in the groove.

Yah I got 4 vids of your car. There are way too big to email but you only work 2 mins away so I could drop them on a disc and drop them off sometime if you want.

 

If you can put the vids on a disc, let me know I'll get you a disc if need be. I can even pick up tomorrow, as I'm on holidays all next week, let me know.

as for the vandalism....

I have a huge ass dent in my driver door from someone kicking it in. I also noticed footprints on the windows where they failed to kick in my windows...managed to get the major dent to look a little better but there are still a few good dents in my door....not sure if i can get them popped or if i need a whole new panel.....

boys and girls our tuning problems have been solved!

i contacted josh from over the top performance, who is advertising tunes for the 2.4 and 2.0L, he has been tuning for over 7 years and is one of the first people to have the orginal HPTuners.

i told him our situation, how we have no really really good tuners in winnipeg and the support of EFI live is expensive.

he told me to get all the people interested to send me their info (mods and type of car) and he will get back to me on a price, he said he can ether come up here, we can go there (michigan) or we can ship him our pcm in exhcange for a core pcm till ours is tuned.

so please, if you (as myself) are interested in a tune from a very well known professional, please send me your list of mods and i will relay them back to josh.

 

Just a note.....mail order tunes are a VERY bad idea........
