I need help, yet again:
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show....php?p=2702192
Any ideas? Or have a look under your hood and maybe it's normal......?

And I noticed yesterday that the (intercooler) filler cap bracket broke. No idea how that can happen, unless it was weakened in my accident?

nah, sorry to disapoint Mike.. didn't buy anything.
I've made a point not to spend any money on my car till it's fixed, and that's probably not going to be for another month or so.

Nah, they don't know anything yet. They still haven't even looked at the car.

ETA for proper service - When you give the car back after the lease is up.

I would be willing to bet they do not consider it an issue that could cause more $$ damage than it would $$ to tear the engine apart and find something small making noise.

Maybe ask for a service manager (not supervisor) and request a singed document stating your car is safe to drive in normal everyday conditions. Considering it is in their best interest to insure the car is in top condition considering THEY will be the proud owners of a shot 06 cobalt ss/sc in 2 more years if it ends up being a bearing problem.

Then go to another dealership and ask for the service manager, explain the situation and see if 2nd dealership is willing to check it out under warranty.

I would think any strange noise from the engine bay would be considered higher priority to be investigated unless they have already determined it is completly safe... In which case again you would want it in writting.

Even consider asking your dad to come help you get some damn respect from the dealership. Hate playing the parent card but it might be required.

Yah or you can phone GM Canada customer service line... I did that when I had problems getting the proper stage 2 flash and the dealership got a call from GM Canada the very next day. So that shakes them up a bit and gets things going too... (They have a 24 hours call back resolution/guarantee)

I'm already dealing with the manager, have been for over a month.
I need a stock pully and belt so they can "test" it.

In other news, has anyone else been watching ZZP's newest TwinCharge thread?
They run their charge piping under the engine?! Seems random, but I like it.

You can have my stock press on pulley for free if thats what they need. I have it at home still. And come to think of it I might have the belt too.
