Another update on the status of the car.... today Dane and I were going to go out for dinner, so I picked him up in my broke-dick ride.
The **** runs so poorly now, I wasn't even able to hit 80kmh on the merge lane getting onto Bishop. The guy had to slow down to about 65/70 to let me in.....

On top of that I can't even make 5 lbs boost without hearing the sound clear as day. Dane heard it today and I think part of his soul melted.
I will for sure be able to get the sound on video with the way it is now, and I plan on getting a clip of it so I can remember just how ridiculous this whole deal really is.

....Still waiting on a call back from the Service Manager

Yeah, they offered to fix everything without de-moding it. Unfortunately they offered this a day late.

I must have misread something previously lol.
I haven't switched to them just yet. Since the dealer at Gauthier is going to help me (now that I'm stock) and I have a really good report with the Sales Manager there (Dan Moyce) I was gonna give them another shot at it. Been 4 days now and the Service Manager hasn't called me back yet....

We should all trade in for the SS/TCs, they come stock with a wideband

And it looks like a transit bus hit someone at mchpillips and leila, they blocked it off and the bus is in the intersection with a smashed front window and right in front is a pair of shoes, laying on the ground like somebody just casually stepped out of them.

What part? Neither was a joke. The T/C has a factory wideband sensor, it just doesn't have a gauge to display it. But as far as tuning purposes HPT can read it, or an interceptor etc...

Ryan, if watching GM screw other people helps.....
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...103596&page=49

I was wondering if anyone wants to help me write a combined letter to GM? Like the various Stage 2 debacles, warranty fails, etc? I think we should write all of our stories in factual / mature letters and send them together to GM, all the dealerships involved, and a few newspapers. Anybody with me? I'm sick of this, and it sound like it's GM's fault, because they are telling dealers to stop charging work to warranty if possible.

I just might do that. But, I'm giving the Service Manager till Monday. His voicemail hasn't changed since Tuesday, it just says "I'm temp out of office" and doesn't give a date. I'm thinking something might have come up and he had to leave work for some reason. I can't be mad at him for something like that.

Not to mention it's fugly!

OK Ryan. Let me know when you wanna "get together" and write them. I'm just too tired from moving and working to get too angry and yell at people on the phone. I'm going to write a letter, calmly explaining why this sucks, and why our next car will be a Subaru WRX and not an HHR SS.

**** Rogers Customer Service is duuuuuuuuuuumb.

I call their line, I say into the ARU "Talk to a Representative" then "Technical Support" as it asks me too. Some dumb-bitch answers the phone, and I start talking about my problem. She's like "Let me transfer you to Tech Support" I'm like, that's what I ******* chose in the menus.... and she goes "The ARU doesn't understand the word iPhone yet." I'm like "I didn't say iPhone, I told you exactly what I said "Talk to a Representative" and "Technical Support" and then the bitch just cold transfers me into some random queue.

I would also be wiling to do it. The **** they put me through with Stage 2 after Wes had confirmed with GM he could sell it to me was complete BS.

As it stands I do not have warranty for stage 2. The also twice now have forgotten something with scheduled maintenance. First they didnt screw the nut on that thingy on the side of the fuel rod. It was completly loose. I would have never known except the next day Wes and I (more wes) installed stage 2 in car and noticed it was loose. 2nd thing last time I got it back and I had no (SC oil i think it is?) in the resivoir at the very front of engine.

The dealership with stage 2 told me they could not install it and subsequently did not work on car so they would not charge me. Then I find out they did flash my car with stage 2... the 2005 model stage 2 flash which turned my gas guage backwards and who knows what else it did (thanks wes for fixing that and kevin for supplying a 2006 stage 2 flash and ryan for providing the newest stage 2 flash). Took the car back and they denied it. Finally they offered to flash it to whatever the stock flash was..... Fixed the gas guage instantly and then the tech working on it went from being a complete ***** to me to being a little nicer.. Guess he changed his mind after he realised he did not actually **** my car.

My supercharger now makes a feint high pitch sound when it starts making boost at 20kpa. usually goes away after the car has warmed up but I cannot stop worrying I will end up in the same positiona s ryan once I get more miles on the car.

With all these issues I have a very hard time bringing my car to them to have the front suspension warrantied for the rattle it does when driving very slow and going over very small bumps.

Oh well.

boss is paying for a motor for me and everything said and done is not going to cost me anything.

Marv is awesome. He is probably losing money on this for yah - losing alot of money now. But he knows where we will all go when we want our JDM yo!

And Dayn - glad to hear you are on board - that was retarded, gas gauge backwards, lol..... I can't believe GM let's these guys work on our cars with no training.

Honestly these dealerSHITS seem to be getting to large to give a damn about their reputation. Small companies cannot let that happen. When the lease is up I will probably buy a cheap mazda3 and start looking to spend money on life instead of toys.

I will never recommend buying from a Chevy dealer or even anything GM in this city. If that sounds bad just think how Ryan must feel. He has far worse experience than me and I bought the car because of him. GM owes him a kidney.... and not the bad kidney.

FYI - I just submitted feedback on the "request a call back" section of GM canada regarding my service experience. If anyone else wants to here is the link https://contactus.gm.ca/english/req_call_me.aspx

Well, today went from being a planned 2 hour day to a..... unplanned 6 hour day? JP and I were going to install his new Header and Downpipe.

After fighting with rusty exhaust bolts for a good 30 minutes we finally had the stock downpipe out. After that, it took another good 45 minutes to get the stock header out.

Then we realized that ClearImage didn't send any bolts with the parts, so we started a 45 minute drive around town for some 4" 9/16th bolts. No one stocks anything 9/16th... so we basically got K.O'd...

Got back to his place and finished putting in the new header. Car sits on jack stands until we can go buy bolts tomorrow.

--

As for my car... LOL!
**** won't even move anymore. Fired her up in the driveway today and let it idle a few minutes. The rattling exhaust is completely gone (prolly cause the cat is clogged now). Gave it a rev and the car stalled out. My guess is it can't breath cause of the cat being clogged. That or my supercharger is completely toast now :P.
