okay...got good news / bad news.......
turbos got changed over yesterday afternoon.got the phone call car was done.went to the shop.........car is dead ! wont run , wont idle , would barley start...................
pulled all the spark plugs and looked in the cylinders while it was firing over,2 cylinders were dry? did a compression test.....compression from what im told should be about 150 - 180 ish.....

#3-50 ( i start to weep at this moment )
#4-20
#5-160
#6-55
so i had to sit back and colect myself a little......mechanic was already on the phone with the boss......
i have a smoke and calm myself.he comes up and says okay motor is finished.boss has some options.
1 have all my money back in full
2 take something else off the lot
3 get another motor
my words were this.....
" this is my car, there will be no other ! i could care less about the money,get me a motor fast!!!! "
boss is paying for a motor for me and everything said and done is not going to cost me anything.
that is how a buisness should be run. marv has been nothing but stand up through out all of this and i will rep " coyotecars " for ever !
and after everything said and done, mechanic said to use his celsior while my car is down,just pay for gas lol
and then i get a text from marv later at night.
" sorry for all the grief,dont worry about anything,i'll take care of it all "

jeff- wow, seriously wow...that is awesome that marv is standing behind you so hard (no gay pun intented.) you can let marv know, that just from your experience with your car, if i ever decide to purchase a RHD vehicle it will be through him forsure.

Hmmm..... that is how GM warranty should work. so funny it is sad.

An entire group of people complain and it is a serious issue requiring GM to look more at the dealership. Murray's service center is the common denominator here.
Dane, Wes, Ryan and Courtney I think the list could be. Ryan has had it the worst. Mine could have ended very bad with Gm possibly denying me warranty since my car was clearly flashed incorrectly and the gas guage being a clear indicator of it. Even though I knew they flashed it wrong... They denied it and I know it would have screwed me down the road if anything like what Ryan is experiencing happened. They tried to cover it up by not filling out paperwork claiming "nothing was touched so you don't have to pay anything". After going back they also did no paperwork....
I am not sure what happened with wes or courtney there?

Unfortunately never went to Murray's, but Orion did screw my plate directly to my front bumper, then when I got home, I found the plate mount they were supposed to use, in the trunk. For the most part, Orion was OK for me (I know others have had different luck there). But I will submit mine for SMP here.

When my back was up against the wall I found it to be easier to just find a dealer that was sensitive to the problem. Vickar #1, Rosenort motors #2, McNaught #3 but there standard of service has dropped big time lately, #10 Murrays (cause you cant get any lower, they treat you like a crook regardless of who you are, and there has to be 7 other better dealerships at least)

Well Dayn, to help you out, I've submitted the request. In retrospect, I think a lot of the issues stem from the corporate level. With the exception of the lying and stuff. But the dealerships are being told not to warranty anything if possible, and when the techs call the tech lince for help, they know less than we do. This is what I want to bring up when they call.

I could add my stage 2 reflash fisaco with Orion.... most of you probably remember the basics. Ending up having to pay Gauthier $100 to flash it with the stage 2 flash because Orion kept refusing and insisting it was already done even though the rev limiter was still 6500... And then I paid Gauthier, and magically, 7000 rev limiter

I think last year it was a $5 discount to be signed-up. But when we got there, they gave us the discount without really checking anything first.
As far as complaining to GM, so far Wes, Dayn and I have used the link he put in his post, to complain and get a phone call. If that doesn't work, then maybe we should do the letter writing.

So another GM fail. I sent the call request like Dayn linked to. I specifically chose the hours beteen 6 and 8 PM. They just left a message on my phone now, saying I can call any day before 4PM. Just to be clear, the call centre is open later than 8PM, but the rep they assigned to my "case" apparently stops working before I can call her.
