Has anyone run Sport Compact day in a stock 2.4 SS? I'm debating if it would be worth it to try and book off from work if I'm gonna be pulling 16s and everyone else is doing 13-14s

 

The nice thing about being in the NA class is that there's no crazy fast cars, Foujin won the class with his RSX last year but he won't be running this year at al. Oh and you should be running 15's with the 2.4 SS with ease.

13's and 14's are slow compared to alot of the cars there just go out and have fun!
i ran my G5 GT 2.4 with just intake and my best time was like 15.9 or something like that. but i couldnt drive for **** u should do better than i did.

 

i did 15.45 stock last year and i have yet to get a better time odly enough


pablo i did not know they had a NA class...hmms maybe i could take that home this year if i can break 14's.

so duals qouted me 280 for a good resenator and a flopro muffler and install....

 

Yep there's a FWD/NA/4cyl class, so it'll be full of 15 and 16 sec civics on street tires. If you can pull of a 14.xx I think you'd be in the op 3 for sure.

1.9 114mph = 13.8? something does not ad up.

with a crazy head wind on stock rubber doing 2.2 flat 60, alll modded up SC running 60lbs injectors full 3" exhaust I ran 13.9. I am pretty sure I would have cracked 13.8 at least without the wind. I say you should do 13.6's to 13.4's. I WANT TO SEE IT. when do you go?

 

No I don't think the 1.9 60' is referring to Kenny's run..

I have this run of his on video, it's 13.88 at 113.83 mph

You can tell there is traction issues, a slow camaro gets a huge lead and then Kenny runs him down and flys by him once it hooks up. (Judging by the video LOL)

and knowing this I stand corrected. Kenny should run sub 13.4's
