BOMBER NEWS!!!!

Roberts got traded away to BC for Joe Smith. So Says CJOB. I like it.

Roberts has done nothing all year and is 29...kinda shitty he was so close to the rushing bomber record tho.

I have liked Joe Smith from the beginning of the year...

Im excited again.

So JP and I took the iPhone's Dyno software for a whirl this evening.
Seems like it's still a bit off, but our 60's were just brutal... tons of wheel hop for me, and tons of wheel spin for him...

Got a couple runs that were really close to this weekend. Overall I'm extremely impressed.

1/4 ET - 15.38 @ 97.2MPH
60' - 2.77 (LOL!)
WHP - 203

For a $13 peace of software I was very impressed at how "accurate" it appeared to be.
I can't wait to compare it to real timeslips to see just how close it really is.

Its an App called Dynolicious, I bought it too. A test by Garage419 (Youtube Channel) found it to be within 4.5hp of a dyno, and .1 sec on the 1/4. Trap speeds were off by about 4/10ths, but it blew away the Gtech pro they compared it to

Apparently the 0-60 is more than a few tenths off, lol.

Since it uses accellerometers Ryan, apparently mounting it physically to the car yeilds more accurate results...... Maybe there is some way you can get an iPhone case that you can velcro securely somewhere?

PS: This post made from Chrome! hop on y'all!

Way super off topic, but anyone who spends a lot of time on the internet, I would highly recommend you check this out!!

Google launched their new Web Browser this morning. I'm using it right now, and god damn I have to say it's about a 100% performance increase over IE, and about 75% increase in performance over Firefox. I love it so much and I've been using it for only 30 minutes.

Already have that issue resolved. Wes and I tried it a few nights ago and were getting 17-21 second 1/4 times. This was waaaaay off.
I have a mount that I used to use for my iPod that mounts it to the body of the car and that's when I started seeing the mid/low 15s (like I got on the weekend).

LMAO!
I love how we both posted an rep'd chrome at the same time. I didn't even notice you had that in your post!

Omg, I know I'm a super huge loser, but I just can't get over how fast this browser loads webpages.

Sweet Ryan - glad to hear you got a good mount. So I wonder what is up with the 0-60 time.....

PS: I wish Chrome imported all my firefox addons :-( So far I have found a few buggy sites. Mostly with Javascript, since they re-wrote their interpreter...

Nah, wasn't on Regent today. Spent a few hours in the afternoon shopping for 750cc of crotch rocket.

I didn't notice anything for me... but it was also wet when I was driving.
I also hope that it is this cool outside on SCD so I too can watch all the cars get their best times.

GSXR 750 or 1000. tell me which and why?

370lbs vs 405lbs
full exhaust will put them down to 350lbs vs 375lbs.

looks wise there is some difference but the 750 as a little better appearence from the from end. I will likely go with traditional blue and white.

the only reason for a 1000 is for t&t 1/4 to go high trap.
750 is more than enough for the street and great for track days.

Honestly Wes, I would say get the 750...
If you're just wanting the 1000 for the 1/4 times, it's probably not really worth the money (to me).
