EDIT: Talked to Sean - a medium is ready. He wants to know your ph# so you two can setup a time to meet. Is your cell # still the same?

No not yet... it went as follows...
1] Walk in, starts writing up a blank "offer to purchase" and asks me to sign it, and I say uhhh... NO... thats like a blank cheque (he filled out all my info and the car's info but not the selling price)
2] dodge.ca lists the car as 24K, they come and tell me it's 28k, i prove to them the website says it's 24K
3] Sales guy talks to manager, comes back and says something that makes no sense at which point JP and I ask "So are you saying you are marking it up higher than MSRP?" and he says he'll get his sales manager
4] Sales manager says the website is just wrong, and they can't sell it for that low
5] And then I leave and tell them I'm going to phone the corporate number and ask why they have a different price than the dealer (for the specific car on the lot)....
And this all took about 2 hours of back and forth shenanigans. The end result being them offering it for $476 per month for 60 months plus having a balance remaining at the end which would by refinanced at current rates for an additonal 26 months... making it a total of 96 months or 8 years. Which makes it seem like they are trying to charge me about 38,000 for the car.

Thats right, it very clearly says on the website base msrp is 22k, but they are claiming base msrp is 25k.... it's clear as day to me and JP anyone who looks at the dodge website. but oh well, i'm gonna try another dealership

yikes! still not too bad for onehelluvacar. haha, 500 a month, i may be buying my neighbors 81 f-150 4X4 for 500 bucks tomorrow. might make a killer winter beater, but its a 351 and gas is ass.

mike, next time they call back, tell them we shouldnt be doing the leg work to sell our cars to give them money, tell them that if they want us to purchase their product they are going to have to try to get somone to lease takeover our vehicles (as in them paying/posting for the lease busters ad)
i know for a fact that they will do this since Kim at orion a few months back glady offered to do that, only if i made a gentlemens agreement that i would have purchased a 08 ss/tc if she sold my car for me.
anyways, thats what im going to tell them when they call me.

well ****, no one is oging to take over my lease...so **** it. im going to build my car up and take pride in it.
sure i wont have nearly the fastest cobalt, but atleast ill have something i am content with.
and atleast by not trading it in i wont take a huge loss...

****** rights man. dont take the loss, if they dont wanna work with you and give you a deal, especially when theres 2 of you willing to buy, **** em. thats bad customer service imo. keep the balt, pay it off till the end of your lease and drive it through their ****** window
