I can definitely get the time off work, that won't be an issue. I'll have to figure out how much the trip will cost me (hotel stays and food) and then set that money aside.

But ya, I can for sure do this if we are serious about it.

Gonna camp for the whole 4 days? That sounds doable to me. I haven't been camping in quite a while.

I don't know if it is actually this weekend, but if it is I'd like to go.
I work a shitty shift on Friday though, so I'd only be able to go Sat/Sun. Preferably Saturday though.

That's cool. I figured when you didn't answer that you were working. It's all good, we had a blast even without you

Update for the alberta meet..heres a plan i have sketched up with some of the members in sask/alberta..

us manitobaians (SP?) leave friday morning (27th) and drive to saskatoon...a few members there have shown intrerest in letting a few of us stay at their houses over night, thus cutting down our fee's of staying in a hotel..

the morning we would then head out with the sask crew and be at drumheller by 11...

how does this idea sound to the people comming?

I'm cool with staying in random peoples houses.. I think, lol.

But be in Drumheller by 11?
Do the people who planned this out realize that Drumheller is over a 5 hour drive from Saskatoon? ....and if so, they plan on hitting the road at 5am?

Well, this is the suggested route as per Google Maps.
http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&hl=en...223633&t=h&z=6

We might be able to save 5 minutes if we make it this one though, but I think it'd rather run the #1 most of the way there.

both roads are shtity..number one is a one lane so is the 14 lol

less activity on the 14 is my guess..=more chances of us speeding

rest in yorkton for 30-1 hour. 2 PM leave for sask

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...85&ie=UTF8&z=7

2 PM+3 hours to saskatoon leaves us at 5.PM

and the next morning we could leave at 6 AM, becuase of time change we have an extra "hour"
Not sure why you didn't post this here, but I'm quoting it to make sure everyone can decide on this.
I like this idea. I don't really want to sit in a car for 9 hours, especially driving.
Doing 5 hours, then a 30-60m rest and another 3 hours should be a cake-walk.

haha sorry i just got caught up posting over there..

also i would like it if we had everything planed after spring break (april 7th) or (april 14th) by the latest...

for those coming, i think the five of us should have lunch one day, sit down with maps and discuss what we will be doing..

also by then i would like to have "everything" planed out I.e sleeping arangements, how long we are staying out there, what we will do incase of emegencies and so forth...

also..i would like to enforce a "no speeding" well going up there..i know i sound like a hardass..but lets not get over and above our selfs..i am fine for doing 110 in a 100 or 120 in a 110..but nothing like 140 all the way there..i relize we will have a radar detector but thats no excuse, we dont need to be getting pulled over and getting a big fine or even a night behind bars.
