Yeah, I already went to Orion to complain that I have a 2006 SS/SC and I have the 7000rpm redline, but that wasn't enough...... I said it was common knowledge and told them to contact any of us or Crate Engine Depot - but they didn't So I contacted Crate Engine Depot instead and confirmed it was a bad flash. EFI Live does not do cobalts as of yet the last time I checked. I was shopping for it recently and to my surprise the cobalt is slated to have for future, not now.

Big gains from GMS2 but really a 2.8 and 60lbs is not worth beans. 2.8 runs to hot except for winter driving.LOL I know of others who have burned of rotor coatings off on the little eaton during a dyno pull. I ran IAT2 temps up to 178 on a closed road course at Gimili (not drag). Normally you want cruising is 80-100 and boost is usually 135 or 19.5lbs on GMS2. you go smaller pulley then get a Heat exchanger upfront.

If I were to do it all over again I would go GMS2, GM DUAL pass intercooler mode, put a cobra after market intercooler in series after the stock intercooler. then go 3" puller. no smaller.

that happens if you are in neutral and hammer the gas or if you wind out third to 7G's and shift into 2nd! LOL JK . but really a stock motor has no need to go past 6500 RPM. I didnt for my 13.9 run. torque really comes on at 4500 rpm and falls off after 6500.

there is some proof of GMS2 did not take. limited boost. I boosted 16psi on GMS2 or 110kpa. Highest boost ever was 135 KPA. boost is overrated and power short lived if it is not cool though. timing is backed off cause of heat. remember to aim for cool air always. an ICE BOX IS A GREAT MOD and there is many available for 100 to work with air to water intercoolers.
